Ah yes sorry for not being an avid hearts fan, I thought their last game was a plucky 1-1 draw with the mighty Motherwell
There’s absolutely no need to be in this thread to be as condescending as that. Brings absolutely feck all to a discussion about probably the most entertaining league this season.

Celtic defender Alistair Johnston tells Sky Sports: "It's the greatest league win - it must be of all time. Never count us out. We just felt like we were going to find a way. Unbelievable.

"[Martin O'Neill] is a winner. Build him a statue, it's as simple as that. He just finds a way to win."

A real shame for Hearts. A magical season, but it was asking a lot to fight both the opposition and the institution in the end.

Are Celtic fans a bit simple or just drunk? How the feck do you get this excited about winning the 15th title in 16 years?

Some ugly scenes following that third goal, with BBC Sportscene pundit Allan Preston saying some of those Celtic fans streaming onto the pitch were targeting Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland.

---

So a pitch invasion ends the game before it should have ended and the fans 'targeted' the opposition captain.

The SPL seriously need to penalise this sort of thing going forward, otherwise it will only continue.

Ammmmmm context.....

And, I certainly celebrated every single title when United were absolutely dominant. Weird comment.

Disappointing for Hearts, they didn't come out with any gaem plan in the second half it was just hit and hope stuff, no out ball, poor defensive shape. Doubt they'll be in this position again any time soon.

On the one hand I feel like hearts can go again next year with Blooms track record at clubs. However it’s hard to see the old form being as shite as they were and hearts having that great record against them again.

Yes, I agree. It wouldn't have mattered for the game. But it does indicate that if your fans invade the pitch at the end of stoppage time, referees will just call for full time. Not a great look.
Just difficult to contain isn't it.
The nature of having that long run in to an open goal and so little time to play just invited it today.

Couldn't imagine a pitch invasion like that at the big prem grounds though. Even after the final whistle.

Motherwell were outside contenders for the title this season. Their manager will probably become the Celtic manager. They're a good team this year in Scotland.

How the heck is Oxlade Chamberlain at Celtic and still only 32!
Assumed he'd be long retired and 40s

You see, this time they didn't do it with tedious ease. Big difference.

He signed a program for the first ever game I went to in 1990 at Wycombe.

Unbelievable he's involved to this level 36 years on.

My colleague text me saying surely Celtic fans will be a bit embarrassed with how this has all come about. Then their fans stream on the pitch after the third to assault the Hearts captain and have the game called early. Think it’s safe to say he’s underestimated how shameless their fans are
