Because I think if it does exist, then it’s absolutely reason to consider docking points. The game was not over, and pitch invasions NEED to stop
Imagine being the fan or fans that assault the opposing players, resulting in a 3 point deduction and the title being taken off you. Your own fans would hate you

If the assault did happen, it's no surprise they targeted Shankland, the boyhood Rangers fan. :smirk:

Former Celtic defender Darren O'Dea with the following insightful comment

"I think that's ominous for the rest of the league. If Celtic can win it this year what could happen in years to come?"

What, like the last 20 years
Think he means that Celtic were so utterly rubbish this year, the fact the won the league again just shows how crap the league is. Hearts will never get a better opportunity.

The one thing that could have reignited an interest in Scottish football, and it’s snuffed out. SPL are their own biggest enemies.

Ill start off by saying congratulations to Celtic. In particular to Martin O'Neill, he's worked wonders getting that squad of players over the line in terms of the title.

Obviously im gutted right now. Im hoping we can go again next season but it's going to be difficult to compete with the money the Old Firm have again. People will point at Jamestown Analytics but, despite what they may think, Bloom and his team did not have a massive influence this season. Braga and Kyzaridis where the only 2 regular starters for us that the Analytics identified. Obviously they were brilliant for us. But there were far more misses than hits. If we are to challenge again next season, we'll need far more from Jamestown than we go this one.

Derek McInnes deserves far more credit than Tony Bloom for this season.

After this afternoon I feel like I need a long break from football.

Do you think hearts will be able to hold onto some of their best players?

2 of our starting central midfielders today are out of contract and look like they're gone.
Good chance Braga will be sold.
Always a chance someone comes in for Shankland.
Goalkeeper and Leonard return to parent clubs.
We'll need a completely new central midfield for sure.

Ye made it the best season in Scotland in memory. I know that's no consolation to you right now. Best of luck next year.

It's a cruel game sometimes mate. I was as anxious for you guys today as I have been for any Rangers game this season, it captured the public that much.

Probably not the worst day to be a Hibs fan either, I wouldn't have thought.
The only official replica club shirt I ever owned was a Hibs shirt. Not really a fan, but it was quite hipstery of me. Late 80s.

Yeah sorry to say I think that was your moment

It speaks volumes as to how abysmally dull and predictable the SPL is when Celtic, who’ve incidentally been truly awful this season, still end up being crowned champions. Grass roots football in Scotland needs a massive shakeup if it’s ever to be taken seriously as a competitive league, rather than dominated exclusively by the Old Firm duopoly year after year.

Yup. Despite Celtic being an absolute shambles, they still went and won it.

They've still got decent experience in there. Tierney, McGregor, Iheanacho. Maeda would probably be alright at lower end prem club (although Kyogo scored loads up there and totally flopped at Birmingham).

What messed up Celtic this season was whoever in their recruitment team was obsessed with Nancy as that run they had under him was abysmal. Otherwise they'd have finished on 90 + points.

Their defence is no good though so that will be found out in Europe once again.

I more meant the shambles at boardroom level and the appointment of Nancy.

The squad is fine to win the SPL, but absolutely nowhere near good enough for Europe. Their recruitment strategy needs a complete overhaul. Too many 'stabs in the dark' hoping that they'll unearth a gem and flip them for profit.

People may not believe this but I genuinely feel for Hearts. They were the best team in the league this season but MON is an absolute icon to the Celtic faithful. No other manager in World football would have gotten Celtic over the line. He gets Celtic, is a Celtic man, and understands the club and what's required to get the club over the line.

I'm absolutely buzzing, naturally.

Fans on pitch attacking Hearts players were a disgrace.

Hearts, A club who's fans flew a banner saying

"Stan Petrov
19
Days to live"

When he had cancer.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer set of non sectarian Edinburgh darlings.

Get it right fecking up them.

That's a race to the bottom. The end of that game was disgraceful. No arguement or mitigation.

Hearts fans seem to have forgotten that one of their own actually assaulted Neil Lennon.

I think, if anything, the lack of blooms influence should be encouraging!
