Steady Senne. No blunders but no worldies either but eliminating the former was the vital thing after Onana as it was killing us.

Not sure if it's been posted but he was on Ben Foster's podcast last week.

No idea if it's any good because I can't listen to Foster for that long despite him seeming like a very nice man. A very nice, annoying man.

I'm impressed by his mentality and calmness. That Everton game was a real proving point with the most complex challenge there is in the PL at the moment, and he did it with flying colors. Moyes was shocked by how well he handled everything in the air. Long may it continue.

He also seems unfazed by anything around him. He is already the worst-dressed person in the changing room, but zero fecks are given from his side. I love that.

Bournemouth 2:2 Man Utd New
The difference between Lammens and Onana's handling is incredible. One is pure clutch, the other looks like he is trying to grab a bar of wet soap with the arms of a T-Rex.

His kicking doesn’t seem great. Excellent with collecting crosses though.

Am I being harsh thinking Christie's goal was bad keeping? Feel like I saw those ones with Onana and had me tearing my hair out.

Another game where we would've lost with Onana in goal. That joker has to have cost us at least a dozen points per season, even not accounting for the CL debacles.

I disagree.

I think he's a consistently putting out 8.5 performances.

He is near perfect at everything for a goalkeeper so when he has one weakness to his game people tend to focus on that one weakness.

Honestly, he makes goalkeeping look so easy that he kind of looks like a jack of all trades yet a master of none.

The guys is excellent with the ball at his feet, absolutely a 12th man in the box, hardly gets beat in corners, catches the ball like he is a cricket player, provides a stability I've not seen in years at our club.

Considering his one weakness is arguably saving shots that are well placed wide shots needing much of a diving quick intuitive save - its not the worst weakness to have because he is saving central shots near most of the time anyway.

Honestly I think people are being unrealistic - if he was going to save all these widers shots that can or are being saved by other top keepers then this guy would be one of the best goalkeepers of all time at the age of 23.

He has no weakness to my eyes except saving wider angle shots.
Is that due to his height, something he may not be able to change - or is it down to his technique something he has plenty of time to improve upon.

Watch Donnuruma's against West Ham, he has a significant weakness yet is regarded as one of the best players in the world in his position.

I think you are absolutely right, actually. Well, I'd say 8/10. But yes, he's been an incredible performer.

Saved a late penalty to win us 3 points vs Copenhagen at OT but cost us so much more over those 6 games. Almost single-handedly made us finish 4th in a group with Bayern, Galatasaray and Copenhagen.

I'd rather he knew when to hoof it (which he does) and get some distance than try any fancy stuff and get caught out even once. His decision making when knowing when to try and pass out or get rid is really good. He's not had any dodgy close calls yet for anything daft (from what I recall).

He is solid and creates no fear he is going to do something brainless like Onana or Bayindir. That makes it so much easier for the defense.

There were one or two last night that you just know Onana would have struggled with.

He’s a great keeper, best signing in the summer!

I don’t know if we bought him because he looks/sounds similar to Cortouis (like we did with Hojlund and Haaland), but he has been amazing, it’s like having VDS back in again.

Even if we can’t give Onana away on a free transfer, at best I’d have him as our third option behind Bayandir. Lammens is the clear #1. What a brilliant signing.

It's almost unbeliveable how we've so easy solved the GK position, and how good he is immediately in his first season here. His positioning is really something else, it allows him to make so many saves look easy.

I can't believe how easy was for his to adjust to the premierleague considering he is relatively young and doesn't have big experience.

He is our second best player this season after Bruno, and no one even comes close. He is also my PL signing of the season.

He‘s very solid. He doesn’t pull DeGea saves out of the hat, but does other aspects better than him.

He'll be back in the summer, with the aim of reclaiming his first team spot. With hopefully the addition of Champs League wage bonus, he'll be hard to move on...

I'd be surprised if he's not loaned out again, and again until he expires. I think there's zero chance he plays a meaningful game for United again.

Just watched the Chelsea game, and they really managed to have the worst pair of keepers in the league. I can't believe this used to be us a few months ago. Thinking about it, there seems to be a sort of crisis in the position. Courtois aside, top clubs' gk have been subpar this season: Sanchez, Alisson, Chevalier, Maignan, Donnaruma (never rated him anyway), Raya (maybe to a lesser extent). Hope I'm not jinxing our guy.

I don't see any way that happens. Club doesn't want him back and I can't even imagine anyone being happy to see him back

He's such a hilarious upgrade on Onana despite not really being a top class keeper. It just highlights how dreadful Onana is, Bournemouth would have won 5-2 with him in goal.

What are your list of top class Gk?

In what world has Raya been subpar this season? He is playing best football in his career this season
