Felt very bad for him after the Spain mistake but he’s a grounded, chill lad who will no doubt bounce back from this and have a great season here next. So glad he’s ours.

Probably say it’s the best thing to do, to get back at it as soon as possible after a high profile blunder. Nothing worse than to have it fester in your mind.

Just hope it’s not a Tim Howard vs Porto moment where it fecking tanks his confidence.

Those fake picture quotes & tweets are all bs.

Where's the direct quote from the picture in that article?
The point is - he came early from vacation because he cant wait to get started. Whether the exact quote is fake or not, nobody cares, ffs.

Why do you feel you have to argue about everything?

I stand by my original comment.

This is the first season in a long time where there is zero worries over the GK at all. What a man he is.

Just reduces the quality of the forum to be honest.
You kidding, right? With all the crap and bullshit on this forum, that meme is what broke camel's back? It is good enough for ESPN's rumors section but unacceptable to RedCafe?

OK....

Also totally missing the point here, mate. He did, FACTUALLY (confirmed by United) return 4 days early and he is a goalkeeper to be excited about. That was the point, the meme was just fun visualization. It is weird how many of you care so much about it "not being verified"

Plain weird

Factually every single comment attributed to him in that picture is fake, defending it saying he did return early doesn't make those quotes any more real.

Also it's called rumours section for a reason, that picture you posted doesn't make it sound like a rumoured quote, it's pretending to be real, also where have united confirmed this fact?

Only thing plain weird is you defending a fake quote by pointing to a rumour article as source where the quotes aren't even mentioned

I don't mind a good meme, but this is just fake quotes pretending to be real.

I think pretty much everybody should care whether quotes attributed to our players are real or fake.

If it's something that is obviously a joke or meme that's one thing, but anything pretending to be real quotes trying to fool people should have no place here.

I hope we look after the boy. Was a big mistake against Spain, which can sometimes make or break careers. He seems to have a strong mind, he handled last year well, coming in and bringing calmness to our goalkeeping situation. I dont think Courtois helped him, he was huffing and puffing on the bench when he came off injured, he should of tried to give the young boy encouragement by being calm. Either way, this is how humans learn, under pressure and hopefully he has the mentality to realise, this is a new season and a new slate. I really like his raw ability.

If Senne can perform again at the same level he performed last season, he’s an obvious candidate for keeper of the season. He was that great.

But he’ll need a postage stamp save to silence his doubters who bang on about the mistake against Spain.

It's true he came back early to training, and you could have said that and linked to the ESPN article. But the quotes in this image are fake; they're made up by someone or (worse) AI crap. And then you doubled down when people pointed it out. Let's not.

Anyway, good on how to come back early and work hard.

He dropped a bollock for us last season and looked the same old Lammens next game. The lads made of decent stuff, he’ll be fine.
