Oh sure I got it. why else would there be 3 laugh emojisYou obviously didn't get the irony.

Wasn’t that the reason he was sold? He didn’t want to play second violin? I would argue you as one of the worst posters on here. (Laughin green grin, since I don’t have the privilege..)No it was Rashford who was playing upfront when Lukaku was here. Unless someone can prove otherwise.
But I was pointing out when Martial was injured and Rashford played upfront. Lukaku would have been available to lead the line.
Thanks for that. I have to admit that I just don't get the emoji thing but I am quite old. Apology if I had put you down. It was unintentional.Oh sure I got it. why else would there be 3 laugh emojis
Yeah that’s why he wanted to leave....wasn’t my point though was it.Wasn’t that the reason he was sold? He didn’t want to play second violin? I would argue you as one of the worst posters on here. (Laughin green grin, since I don’t have the privilege..)
He got very high level. There is no denying there. But he shows it in 1 of 15 games. I think that he is overvalued by lots and lots of people. There is often talk about Juventus and France. If people really look and analyze situation in both teams and competitions his greatness would drop. His agent did tremendous work getting him sold for that money and getting him those wages. For me, the best thing is sell. As soon as possible. For our sake and also for his career, because he apparently want to be in spanish capital. Keeping a player that want to be somewhere else is just negative for the club and team.I dunno. He was obviously sold on the project, whatever that means, at the time we bought him. Him, Zlatan, Jose etc. He was laying chances on a plate early on, they were just never take, but somewhere along the way it went tits up and here we are. Hes keen when we look good, and apparently not interested when we arent. Not sure what we do now though. Post covid I dont think we get a big fee for him.
I would drop him for a couple of games and see if it fires him up to prove a point. Hes not fit anyway so we arent missing anything.
ChucklingThanks for that. I have to admit that I just don't get the emoji thing but I am quite old. Apology if I had put you down. It was unintentional.
the rotation isn’t a bad idea, although I doubt if either imagined they would not be a definite, regular starter.Ok to reply on that point. I think you start rotating Pogba with Bruno. Not sure where that leaves Donny but he will have to be patient unless he plays deeper. Ole will have to park his ego because he will get a lot of criticism for not signing a holding mid.
Otherwise Ole perserveres with Pogba in a holding role and if it doesnt click then he gets benched.
Literally the third example is a loss, hardly the most compelling list.Tweet

Congratulations on picking out 30 performances from Pogba to "prove" your notion that Paul has put in world class performance since coming back here in 2016 although I would challenge your assertion that they were all world class.Tweet

Well thats the tough thing and a manager has to think about club and player morale balanced against performance. But it seemed Ole was set on Pogba playing the holding role and therefore the issue would not exist. It may do now. Its the whole Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard problem and there is the easy decision (shoehorn them all in) or bench someone. England fans know what they wanted in retrospect.the rotation isn’t a bad idea, although I doubt if either imagined they would not be a definite, regular starter.
Donny? he seems a good character and a good player and I’m sure (hope) he’ll eventually find his way into the side but I must say I have been baffled by this signing, bearing in mind more pressing needs.
not sure it’s Ole’s decision not to sign a defensive mf, cb etc It appears that every time he asks for a player Ed and the gang seem to feck it all up and it doesn’t happen. Happened with previous managers, too. Hence the signings that don’t make sense.
If we could recoup half of our outlay on Pogba, I’d snap their hands off but then can we trust the club to use the money competently. Pogba is no dm. Not sure what he is tbh.
Not easy to drop him. It may effect other players - he has some influence in the dressing room.Pogba's as toxic as they come.
He can continue to talk about his dream to play for Real Madrid, I honestly couldn't care less. If it was me I would've sold/swapped him this summer before his value nosedives. I was gutted when we sold Ronaldo/Beckham to Madrid, however, this time I would be more than happy to drive Pogba to the airport to be honest! A bang average player that needs adding to the list of bad signings.
It's now up to Ole to drop him; if he doesn't, questions will be need to be asked whether he's strong enough to manage United moving forward. At the minute it looks like the tail is wagging the dog.
Wow, I must admit I'd forgotten about those world class performances against the likes of Fulham, Huddersfield, Burnley, Sunderland, Cardiff, Swansea, Hull, Middlesbrough, Stoke, Anderlecht and Young Boys. Most of them even came in wins over such elite opposition! Truly the man for the big occasion.[twitter]1314628962367270912[/twitter]
He's a bad influence and should've been sold in the summer. Sir Alex wouldn't stand for it, neither would Klopp/Pep today. Maybe Ole's hands are tied by Woodward, and if that's the case we are in serious, serious trouble if the manager is being undermined. Not easy to drop him. It may effect other players - he has some influence in the dressing room.
The fact you don't get that reference speaks volumes.Your probably deluded enough to think Pogba can play for Napoli.
But we was talking about Lukaku and how we sold him because he didn’t suit Ole’s style only to find out Ole had no style in mind. But obviously full patriot you has to back Ole and his style that doesn’t suit Lukaku. But yeah explain to me how Lukaku wouldn’t have fit In this team?
Most probably Woodward s hands are tied by JoelHe's a bad influence and should've been sold in the summer. Sir Alex wouldn't stand for it, neither would Klopp/Pep today. Most likely. Most probably Woodward s hands are tied by Joel
They like to play football ,. Sorry Soccer Manager apparently over there in FloridaMost likely.
The Glazers have been an absolute disaster for the club.
Same opposition that United have struggled to beat for 7 years. Now list all those great games put up by the others players with that output. I'll wait.Wow, I must admit I'd forgotten about those world class performances against the likes of Fulham, Huddersfield, Burnley, Sunderland, Cardiff, Swansea, Hull, Middlesbrough, Stoke, Anderlecht and Young Boys. There's literally no evidence of that.Maybe Ole's hands are tied by Woodward, and if that's the case we are in serious, serious trouble if the manager is being undermined.
He’s more like a boat. Occasionally great to show off, but mostly a hindrance, and costs a fortune for upkeep. The most luxury player out of luxury players.
When you buy Zlatan, you are buying a Ferrari and should drive him like one.
But Pogba is on another level (for ManUnited), when you buy him you're buying a Jet aircraft and it's not enough for you to fly him like one. He also needs two more smaller aircrafts to fly beside him as "supports". If you don't, the engine will start making weird noises and/or performing badly.
I think Ole is the total opposite of Jose, he doesn't throw his players under the bus, and shows a lot of loyalty to certain players, Pogba, Maguire, Lindelof and De Gea certainly come to mind, which I think will be his undoing, sometimes you have to be tough and drop the 'star' players from time to time. I also think that Ole will have to adapt to playing a different formation now and again. He has persisted with his favoured 4-2-3-1 this Prem season, with a midfield of Matic, Pogba and Bruno to which is quite easy to get through, so we to me, it's no wonder we have struggled so far, whatever team you put out, you have to win the midfield 'battle', then your flair players can come to the fore, and win the game, but first you must make sure you don't lose. We appear to have the players in the squad to play a diamond formation, or a 4-3-1-2, but I would only play Pogba in the forward point of a diamond, or the attacking midfielder in the 4-3-1-2. I think he is a liability in a midfield 2.Literally the third example is a loss, hardly the most compelling list.
Also despite watching most if not all of those games I don’t remember these “very dominant” displays. The Pogba cult is weird.
Time for all parties to admit it hasn’t worked with Pogba and move on, Solskjaer’s obsession with his favourites will see him lose his job in the end.
The trouble is that Ed/the board have already backed him against one manager and they are likely to do the same again. Not sure what Ole (or any other manager) is able to do about him.For Ole's sake he just has to see that this guy is a spoofer. If Ole does not get rid of Pogba, Pogba will get rid of Ole.
Look i would love for Pogba to turn it around, but it has been three or four years of waiting for him to turn up, whilst he takes to instagram. He is more interested in the Pogba brand than playing good football.
In fairness to Pogba that is the culture at the club. Lingarrd is another one.
It would be the totally wrong move for United. He will obviously look at increasing his salary, which his performances do not deserve, then you end up with others asking for a similar salary etc, etc. We should have learned the lesson from the benchwarmers that are currently riding our bench, extensions given while our current manager was in charge btw. This latest stunt isn’t about him trying to engineer a move to another club. It’s to try and get a new contract here.
Throwing a player under the bus and dropping a player are two totally different things. When you bad mouth a player in public, like what Maureen does, that's unforgivable, but when you drop a player because of form or performance issues, that would not be throwing them under the bus. Ole needs to show his ruthless side after the international break. Make the needed changes and drop underperforming players.I think Ole is the total opposite of Jose, he doesn't throw his players under the bus, and shows a lot of loyalty to certain players, Pogba, Maguire, Lindelof and De Gea certainly come to mind, which I think will be his undoing, sometimes you have to be tough and drop the 'star' players from time to time. Personally I would have tried to sell him last summer.
What about the rest of the games. I also see a lot of the usual excuses in there.Same opposition that United have struggled to beat for 7 years. Now list all those great games put up by the others players with that output. I'll wait.
Maybe you wouldn't finish double digit points behind your main rivals every year for 4 years if they did?
And why have Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham , Chelsea etc games been left out? Because it doesn't suit the agenda probably. All this energy for the top assister in the club after Ferguson while in a double pivot for 80% of the time
The core of the problem, for me.It would be the totally wrong move for United. He will obviously look at increasing his salary, which his performances do not deserve, then you end up with others asking for a similar salary etc, etc. We should have learned the lesson from the benchwarmers that are currently riding our bench, extensions given while our current manager was in charge btw.
Pogba won't shut up his brother or his agent, this won't happen. Unfortunately utd won't get money to reinvest in a committed playerRonaldo was the best player in the world and had just lead United to Champions League glory.
Ferguson was publicly angry with Madrid's tactics to unsettled and poach the player. But Ferguson and Ronaldo made an agreement that he'd stay another year to retain the Champions League then has his transfer.
Ronaldo wasn't making public statements each time he went on international duty.
If Pogba wants his Madrid move he should be honest with Ole, tell the club he's off next summer and that for the next 8 months he'll respect the club and play to his ability and not talk crap in interviews
My thing is, if the guy is not match fit, he should be taken out of the team, gain his fitness and knuckle down for the rest of the season and show that he is a world-class player. At the moment is he is just an average player who is lucky to still have a starting position. The core of the problem, for me.
Club will take an advantage of his contract situation. No chance he will be sold for the same amount of money when we signed him if he only has 1 year left in his contract. Sanchez scored 20 league goals and none wanted to pay 70m pounds on him.A Pogba critic here and honestly nothing would make me more happy than him having a great season with us and having +10 goals and assists. He gets sold for about the same money he was bought, leaves Manchester and the club gets the compesation it deserves. Everybody happy.
