Silvestrie instead of Neville

No not replacing them, but did you see in the last couple of games GNeville is going more forward then he use to, and sometimes he is really crossing some crappy balls to the forwards.
And yes I know he gave a goal to scholes against Blackburn for going forward, but if you had to look at Mikael he is far better going foward and gave more oppurtunities for the forward to score goals.Would like the stats to see how many goals came from Mikael when going forward. And returning to the back after going forward I think Mikael is the fastest in returning back to he's position.
Just hope the team receives this before Saturday's game. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

what are you on about?

it provides diversification having gaz, silvestre, giggs, and becks going down the flanks. personally i think it confuses the opponents and help with our attacking games.

we need to put more balls into the net that's what we need to do.

i dont think gary's crossing is all that bad, (dun compared him with becks!) for a fullback.
his overlapping runs are at times a joy to watch.

Yep his crossing has improved hugely, it used to be bad. He's better than Giggs and Silvetre these days

I've noticed in the past that Ashley Cole is always given credit for his attacking abilities, but i think Silvestre deserves more credit in that category.

Can't see the point of this discussion at all. Gary has been doing really well, linking up with Becks, overlapping and crossing well. He's always had that ability to get down the flank and put in a good ball into the centre. Of course the odd one goes astray but that happens with everyone from time to time.

Both Gary and Mickey give us that much needed width and I don't think there's anything to complain about there for the moment.

Gary's linking and overlapping on the right is a must for us. Beckham is not a pure winger and he doesn't have the ability to get past defenders. Therefore opponent defender would be easy to mark him out if he need to fight alone himself. Gary's overlapping can help to create more chances to cross the ball from the right.

If Gaz can improve his defensive side well he deserves his place, but at the moment he is too raw, his tackles are mistimed, his ball to feet passing is very ordinary and his positioning horrible.

His crosses were and are still fine for me but till he improve the defensive side I sincerely prefer O Shea.

After all a defender is there to defend

Oh no not you on about Gary again !! JOS has a lot of quality we all know but I don't think he would link up with Becks nearly as effectively as Gary does. Besides despite what you think Gary has been great for us this season both attacking and defending and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

G Nev in recent weeks has been superb, whereas Silv distribution has been poor and his first touch terrible- end of conversation.

p.s. Silv played his best football this year at CH.
