According to the Telegraph, Keano is also given the invitation. I hope he and Ferguson settles the issues between them.
Heard the official unveiling is Friday at 2pm and there will be a fan viewing area set up.
Pity Ronaldo and Beckham couldn't make it.
I don't get the Beckham part, according to TheSun today, he and his family boarded a flight to England today and he's not due back in LA until just before the next Galaxy game on the 1st December

As for the statue, it looks like it is just going to be one of him with a ball under his arm (planning documents here). Would be nice if it was one of him with the Premier League trophy or some other pose but it looks unlikely.
