Still not getting my hopes up until it actually happens. The price tag should be interesting seeing how much your run of the mill professional sports sides seem to be going for these days.

Can you hear the football bubble popping? Cash isn't going to flow easily.

Team viewer and Ronaldo situation push them to the edge.

Not sure being paid off by a Sponsor for termination then getting another sponsor on top while losing Ronaldo for free is a hardship

This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of Ronaldo, and will soon see the end of the Glazers.

Only people that will be able to afford us is oil tycoons.
That’s the way it’s looking, nothing out there to rival the wealth of the Newcastle owners but here’s hoping some oil tycoon fancies blowing a few 10s of billions on buying the club, sorting out training ground, new stadium, investing in almost an entirely new squad and turning us back into a world class club on and off the field.

I hope the statement that's coming imminently actually spells out what their intentions are for the club with no vagueness.

If it is a sale how much are they likely to get for the club £4/5/6billion?

An outside investment would make sense, it was reported in the summer if I recall. They keep control that way too

They paid £290m, loaned another £500m against the club, have spent years taking money out of the club and will walk away from a sale with north of £4bn.

Yeah that bubble isn’t popping. Perhaps diminishing returns are on the horizon but they weren’t interested in ownership so why deal with the stress when they can take their money and run and invest elsewhere in an area they’re interested in.

No chance this is happening. As someone pointed out its very similar to Liverpool a couple of weeks ago where they are likely just looking for investment. Also the fact they are not commenting on the issue (as per James Ducker) says to me this is a non starter.

Think it could be just investment from a third party into the club.
