Seems we were around about the same time. Yes Denis was something special. Not only a great footballer but a true entertainer. They used to say if Law was on the team sheet it would put an extra 10,000 on the gate. Remember the Arsenal game at OT and Denis and Ian Ure got sent off. I was there and you just knew they wouldn't last until half time. You're right about the song as well.
