They are not tired!
They are not training intensively, the games are the training.
They are just lacking in conditioning as that's the thing that training improves.
No doubt they feel heavy by the end of the game but they are doing no more in terms of work than what they would normally do in a normal end of season.
The issue is the 3 months off without cardio conditioning, takes time to get it back.
feel like we are trying to make the same point just using different words

If neither of Shaw and Williams are fit, play Laird. It’s better than playing Fred as a LB
We probably play Dalot or switch to back three if neither are available. It’ll be too risky to give Laird a league debut against Zaha or Townsend in this situation and pressure when dropping point is a fatal in this game, if it is just the beginning of season I can understand. Twist ankle should take longer than just a week, won’t expect Shaw to be back but Williams is only a head injury, should be okay.

Yeah, it's risk to play Laird in this game. I think Shaw or Williams will be available.

Also last time we had crisis like this, we got Rashford

Our revival started without Paul Pogba and before Fernandes joined, though there's no denying he has made a huge difference to us, Pogba has been great since he came back, leaving the Southampton game out of course, but Fred has not let us down this season and before lockdown him and Mctominay were very very good for us, now because we've had a run of games with Pogba people suddenly talk as though Fred and Mctominay are rubbish, which they certainly are not.

Don't forget Pogba has been out for months, he can't play so many games in such a short space and deliver his best every single time, if we go with Fred or Mctominay tonight instead of Pogba or say, Matic, then we will still be fine, it's still a strong midfield.

Agreed on all accounts. Certainly we can't rest the whole midfield cause the fall in quality is too big. We must go all in, with only Matić on the bench and get a result. Ideally we will have 2 or 3:0 in the 60 minute si we can sub our must important players.
We'll be fine

Hopefully it is an easy win as CP have nothing to play for and have lost 5 straight. 2-0 lead at half would be great and then start subbing at 60.

Jokes aside, the feckers increased it to £15 per day. Are there congestion charges in Manchester?
Not yet, but probably not far off, Birmingham I think is later thumis year. Carrington isn't close enough to City center for it to affect them anyway.
