It's special pleading. Every team would benefit substantially from the home contingent of fans supporting them. An argument that the Stretford End scores a goal assumes that the Stretford End has more sway in determining match events than other teams' home stands, which is unsupportable.
If you have spent some time at Old Trafford, you know it’s a unique atmosphere there. It’s the biggest club stadium in England, and no other clubs can match our atmosphere. So yes, the Stretford End / Old Trafford has more sway in determining match events than other teams' home stands.

I have to disagree here. On occasion OT has a special atmosphere, big European nights and matches against our rivals. However for the most part the crowd is very flat at our home games.

Since we added a singing section the atmosphere has improved slightly. Our away support, on the other hand, are exceptional and often can be heard over a home crowd.

Red tinted specs.

Most fans of various clubs will attest to the potency of their home support with equal emphasis to your own.
