Genuine question, who has been better for Leicester, Maddison or Tielemans? We needed a midfielder, Ole.... You could have signed Tielemans for 35m before he went to Leicester.

we did that with Fellaini and how exactly did it helped us out. All money went straight into Glazer's pockets.Need to shift a couple of players before the European window closes..
Didn't add.. at least get rid of the players not needed..
That's all we can do now.. don't feck that up
I don't quite understand the fascination with mediocrity. I think Ole made this decision on the back of England winning the cricket world cup. 35m for Tielemans whose played more games and is only a year older than Longstaff while Longstaff is being quoted for 50m. Ole is one of those managers who will pay 50m to get Andy Carroll from Newcastle. It was Longstaff or nothing. Ole only wants British players to recreate the Class of 92.
Well, for one they play different positions and different styles.... Maddison seems more of a 10 while Tielemans is a No. 8. Maddison operates more up the pitch while Tielemans will have those long balls passed while from Leicester's half. I think they'll forge a good partnership in midfield. I would take Tielemans over Maddison because that's what we needed... someone who would take the pressure of Pogba. Also, Tielemans could possibly work as a No. 10 but I don't think Maddison could operate as a No. 8.Genuine question, who has been better for Leicester, Maddison or Tielemans?
I’d genuinely take Sturridge as a background squad player/impact sub.Just had a look and we can still get Balotelli, Sturridge and Markovic for free. The dream is still alive.
Would be a better option now than Owen was when he came here.I’d genuinely take Sturridge as a background squad player/impact sub.
I wouldn’t pay him, however.
Okay good summary. If Pogba was to leave (which I do expect next summer) Maddison would be someone we should look to replace him.Well, for one they play different positions and different styles.... A lot of people will probably be very negative about this but you're right, he would be.Would be a better option now than Owen was when he came here.
You can throw Gueye, Pepe and Rabiot into the mix.Ndombele is class. So infuriating watching him knowing that we didn't bother to make a run for him in the transfer market. Same with Joao Felix
Pogba will be used in a double pivot and will operate as a 6 and a 8 and not a 10, therefore, Maddison wouldn't be a replacement for him. However, if we lose Pogba, we would need two midfielders instead. I'm not quite sure whose there to replace Pogba. Ndombele and Felix along with Bruno were my options.Okay good summary. If Pogba was to leave (which I do expect next summer) Maddison would be someone we should look to replace him.
No reason why we can’t try for these targets though. Why do we continue to ignore players that would improve us? We don’t have to settle for mediocrity, yet we do.You can throw Gueye, Pepe and Rabiot into the mix.
The days of us being a top club are long finished. Mediocrity all but guaranteed this season.
Ndombele was one of the most wanted and promising midfielders when Spurs got him and i believe Spurs paid around 60mil for him. That isnt even that expensive for a potential world class midfield player.Ndombele is class. So infuriating watching him knowing that we didn't bother to make a run for him in the transfer market. Barella too.Ndombele is class. So infuriating watching him knowing that we didn't bother to make a run for him in the transfer market. Same with Joao Felix
We missed out on a cheap British LB Tierney for a reasonable price just this windowWe still need 4 players, maybe 6 to fight for tittle next season(2020/21).
Left back to fight with Shaw - Young out.
2 midfielders - dmf and cmf/amf - even if Pogba stays next summer.
Rw - Sancho
Maybe back up striker, tall, who knows to play with head and maybe another CB, depending of Tuanzebe, Maguire and Lindelof how will work this season.
Too many players for one window with Ed at the wheel.
