Spurs interested in Victor Osimhen | crap source

Let Spurs have him. His wages would be high and I wouldn't want him hindering Sesko's development. We need a backup striker on a modest wage.
 
If Spurs get Osimhen they'll do very well next season. Top 4 imo.
 
Would be a good signing for them but I still don't want us going near him. Sesko has more than enough potential

I don't know, but I never remember anyone talking about wages when we signed Berbatov, Ferdinand, Tevez, or Rooney (random players). We were just excited about bringing in a top player. These days, as soon as a player is linked with us, the first reaction is, how much does he earn? followed by nah, don't want him. It feels like the excitement of signing players has been replaced by chatting about wages.

Times have changed, we are not in such a strong position anymore and wages are more important than they used to be.

Whatever about the veracity of the source, who he would be going to, or the merits of anyone buying him, it would be fun to see Osimhen in the PL.
 
Guy's had a very odd career hasn't he?

Run me through again someone how he actually ended up at Gala after all the hype at Napoli.

Didn't really wow me when I saw a bit of Nigeria at AFCON and he kept getting subbed early by Nigeria in their World Cup play offs so get the feeling he's not 90 minute player in higher intensity competitions and will disappoint a bit in the prem.

However given Spurs are paying out mammoth wages all of a sudden then he makes sense for final third.

Because we were not a club who had a leverage buyout that has put 1.4 billion in debt on the club. We have been run into the ground by scoundrels for the last 20 years. We no longer regularly qualify for the Champions League and have to work within our means. It is where we currently are. And it sucks.
 
I'm always leery of big-name players who choose, at the height of their career, to go to some irrelevant league like Turkey. It makes me suspect that there's something dodgy going on and they wanted to get out of the limelight to let it blow over. Not saying he was doping or something like that, but he could have strolled into any of the top leagues and instead chose Turkey. How is that not a questionable decision?
