Jose Mourinho has just left Chelsea by mutual consent. Avram Grant has taken over. Their next match is against United.

That Chelsea team was stacked. And they could have easily won the quadruple. United and Chelsea were level on points in the league going into the final fixture. If John Terry had less hubris they could have won in Moscow. They lost the League cup final to Spurs and made the Quarter Final of the FA Cup, losing in a shock to Barnsley. If they hadn't, they surely would have won that trophy.

Fine margins. They ended the season winning nothing, and Abramovich sacked Grant.

England are playing, so once again I will have an England theme to today's videos.

Video 1 - One Night in Turin

A 2010 documentary about the England football team during 1990 FIFA World Cup and left the nation undone by West Germany on penalties in the semi-final. It looks at the social and political context of the event as well as how it changed people's perception of football and the England team.

It is narrated by everyone's favourite Commissioner Gordon, Gary Oldman. He is both a former husband of Uma Thurman, and the younger brother of Big Mo from Eastenders. I really, really hope they all got together for a family barbecue.



Video 2 - The Impossible Job

One of the best sports documentaries around, it follows the England football team through the 18 months before their failure to qualify for the 1994 FIFA World Cup Finals and showed the pressure manager Graham Taylor was under before his resignation.

But it was a bizarre time.

Chelsea play Leeds. Leeds had beaten United in the semi-final. Neither club had won the FA Cup before.

This is the last FA Cup Final to have been played in April.

Just noticed that the 1970 replay was actually played at Old Trafford, I grew up in the days of the replay taking place at Wembley normally featuring Spurs.
