Nik (@Rood), Jamie (@Vault Dweller) and Ed (@That'sHernandez) give their end of season awards out! They celebrate the best players, goals and moments of the season (there were some, honestly) and also give out awards for the worst and most disappointing players/moments of the season.
They then discuss all the latest transfer rumours and get into the potential ins and outs this summer at Old Trafford.
Whys Isak on there?
Because some one proposed to include him. If he wasn't on the poll, Gyokeres would probably be much higher, as would Osimhen.
I genuinely dont think a poll half full of fantasy options/players who we cant afford/players who just wouldn't join us counts as options
Other than Isak, they are all getable, especially since no one knows how much we are actually willing to spend.
If we don't end up with Gyokores or Oshimen I give up. Last thing we need a another young striker. We need someone with proper experience.
Amorim just made the following comment in his post match presser.
"If you don't score goals in this league, its impossible to win games"
I get the impression he knows what he has to do by reuniting with his former player.

There is nothing from that quote that indicates that he thinks we need, or are going to get, ‘his former player’
after today match, like I said before, we need a proper striker who has proven records scoring goals at other leagues. Osimhen is available and should be sign up asap. Rio mentioned this as well. Don't go for other unproven young strikers, else we will throw another season away
"I get the impression" isn't saying Amorim is admitting he knows he has to sign Gyokeres.
Osimhen for me, we should have signed him a couple of years ago. He's performed everywhere he's been and he's quick and physical. Galatasary was a weird move but at least he's still scoring there.
Gyokeres worries me. Putting the numbers up at Sporting but didn't exactly light the Championship up, and id probably have the two leagues at a similar level. The PL is a massive step up.
Ollie Watkins is the other one. Boring and never going to be a star, but he's a guaranteed 10-20 goal stopgap.

We need two strikers - preference is Osimhen but then I think we should really be looking at David on a free, who could also play in behind as a #10 or exploring the Watkins/ Rashford swap deal.
2 transfer rumors i read today: Gyokeres' 75m fee is out of reach for Man United and Man United are eyeing Tyler Dibbing if qualifies for Champions League. Seriously, if you have no money why bother signing an inexperienced kid who is no better than Garnacho instead of poolling all the money to sign a proven goalscorer? Defense win you the league while Attack win you games, and we've lost 15 games already this season and god knows how next season will falter with out only star player getting 1 year older. Do Not overcomplicated things, just get someone who can score goals.

I think that you should probably remove Gyökeres & Ekitike, both will be hugely expensive, and seem as unrealistic as Isak & Osimhen in my opinion.
Casting my vote for Jonathan David.
Simply put, he knows how to find the net, in one on ones, half chances, he sticks them away, and if he is really available on a FREE transfer, it seems like an absolute no brainer to me.
Get him in, guaranteed finisher, and you've got the budget to address another weak position in the team.

Delap and Vardy?
It's looking like Delap so I'll support that.
It would be more than stupid to go into the next season with just Delap as a striker signing. Might as well as sack Amorim if we do not sign an experienced striker.
I voted Delap but only because I think Gyokeres is also unattainable.
Delap is a good option with Cunha behind
He is a good option but I dont think he is ready to lead the line for us. I feel we would be making a huge mistake if we don’t go for an experience striker. Ideally, we focus our summer transfer activity in sorting out the attack, bringing in an experienced ST, Delap & Cunha / Cherki.
My opinion is we stil need a LWB and a midfielder too. Probably a funds issue to consider Osimhen on top. Maybe CL changes things.

If we had an experienced striker who actually delivered for us, perhaps the 2 we have will come good if they weren’t playing under the same pressure. (Delusional, I know)

He's a bit too multifaceted to be considered an out and out striker. He plays as a 10, one the wing etc..

They're not allowed to leave the forums until a decision has been reached unfortunately. I'm sure their respective jobs and families will understand.

What you want and what you get are two different things. Has to be the worst options for a 9 in years, if not decades. Just hope whoever we get works out, can't have another dud up top.
