Nik (@Rood), Jamie (@Vault Dweller) and Ed (@That'sHernandez) give their end of season awards out! They celebrate the best players, goals and moments of the season (there were some, honestly) and also give out awards for the worst and most disappointing players/moments of the season.
They then discuss all the latest transfer rumours and get into the potential ins and outs this summer at Old Trafford.

Both are currently on the same level in my opinion.
For the transfer fee, their probably salary and their quality....both are the best options in my opinion.
Woltemade is not exactly a striker, I'm not sure if he should be included in his thread. There is a reason why he wears the 10 for Germany U21 at the moment.
No offence meant, but would you have honestly said this 2 weeks ago? They just seem flavour of the week based off a recent good performance.
Not sure if it's a phase or not but Porto are playing dreadful football at the moment , wing play non existent ,this Mora kid holding onto the ball for too long as if he's the only one on the field,that being said Samu is better than Woltermade, offers more, is a lot faster too.
From a German perspective Woltemade is a well known talent who finally "clicked" in the past half year, it's not just one recent performance. So knowing about him and suggesting him is understandable I think.
I don't have an opinion on the other one, I don't even know him.
I am starting to get worried about this. One more season with Hojlund will be the end of me.
Nah we must be looking for someone - we were in for Delap so obviously the club recognises the need for a striker.
I refuse to live in a world where we won't be a single striker this summer - I mean we can't be that dumb... right?
I'm certain we are in for a striker. We have been collecting info on various targets, it's just a matter of time.
Maybe the club thought we would have sold Sancho and Rashford by now for 65m which would pay for Gyökeres.
I'm wondering whether things are going to be too tight for a striker. I think the club thought we were going to have 25m for sancho, 40m for rashford and 50m for garnacho but have none so far. Our midfield is poor but it's a massive concern going in to the season without a striker who can reliably score and a goalkeeper who creates none stop panic at the back. Cunha and Mbeumo will be an improvement on Garchanco however so thinking we could still get top 10, maybe top 8
If we can get rid of hojlund and go for mateta at around 45 million, that might be a good league proven solution at this point.

Wanna bet? Every day i fear to see headlines;
"We wanted a striker but not any striker".
"We have faith in Hojlund and Zirkzee"
Yeah that might be the most realistic, failing that some kind of deal involving Sancho and Vlahovic
Woltemade also looks good .. I think Bayern are sniffing around as a backup striker but it'd be interesting to see if we can convince him to move to the PL. I literally watched 30 mins of him play (in the Portugal v Germany game) so take it with a pinch of salt.

Yes i would have done that......Aghehowa plays very well since 1 1/2 years and Woltemade has played very well in the last season.
We need a new striker because Höjlund is surely not crap but his confidence with us is surely 100% gone............Osimhen would be my dream target for this position but that looks unlikely for various reasons...........we need a new face in this position but in my opinion he doesn't need to be world-class if Cunha and Mbeumo are playing their Wolverhampton/Brentford-level.

I think Osimhen would be forced to drop his demands the longer the summer goes anyway if he really wants a move away from Napoli and there's no takers at current demands. The problem is we'd need to sign him later in the window as he realises time and options are running out and his demands drop, and we won't want to leave it till the last minute to bring a striker in. You'd imagine striker is next on our list after Mbeumo is wrapped up.
I suspect our delay in moving for a striker is we're waiting and hoping for Arsenal to sign Sesko so we can really push for Gyokeres.
So reckon club shortlist in order would be maybe

Personally I would have switched the top two, however the wages and AFCON participation are definite issues.

What's the supposed fee? Obviously wants a big salary if he's being linked to Turkey ahead of any of the clubs in the PL who'd snap him up if his wage demands were in any way reasonable.
With the emphasis on PL proven players now, apparently, should Harry Kane not be on the list. £54m release clause in January for an English club reportedly. Yes, I know his salary demands would likely be astronomical - but he might be persuaded to curb those a bit in order to try to become the highest PL scorer of all time. He’s got more than enough money already and also now a maiden trophy.
Backup striker maybe
54m for a 32 years old? As good as he is, I'd rather we pay a little extra for someone younger. Also I doubt he'd want the move anyway. He has a good chance of winning another title with Bayern next year while competing in for the CL.

Aside from this hypothetical transfer to United being a very bad idea at this stage in the team's re-re-re-rebuild, why would he come to United when I'm sure he could sign for City/Liverpool(for maybe less money) and actually win a league or two.
