I think he looks pretty feckin' cool to be fair!Will Smith appears to be treating this as a Wild Wild West sequel.
I don't think this movie will do well. Leto's performance will be critically acclaimed, but I think the rest of the movie will be pants.
Not a fan of Ayer? Or the rest of the cast? I'm confident this will be decent, going off the fact I quite like Fury and End Of Watch, and the suicide squad as an idea.
My only real concern is that they focus too much on Deadshot because Will Smith only really ever plays the lead character, instead of spreading the love around to the rest of the cast.

I don't particularly care about the costume, but Will Smith in the costume doesn't remind me of Deadshot in the slightest. I dont know why they cast him
I just like Deadshot's look with a full mask better, but to be honest I think the writing and performance will be more important than the costume, and I think Ayer and Smith are both talented enough to pull it off. Still, I agree, I definitely wouldn't have cast him.

Not a criticism of Ayer. Most of the characters in Suicide Squad aren't even that well known, Joker aside. It's going to be hard for them to really get that pull for the audience, if I'm honest. Having said that, Guardian's characters weren't that well known, and that was a success, so I might be wrong. Radiohead..

Will Smith and the fact that it has Joker will be a draw imo and will intrigue people into watching it. However I do wonder how it ties with BvsS movie and I really hope the writing for it is good.
I'm excited. The problem with avengers is that it's a group of heroes vs one villain. I'd rather watch a team of villains vs a team of heroes. Problems in the past of this is that there were usually one main villain and then other villains you didn't care about. If the group has joker, lex Luther, Will Smith as Deadshot vs Batman and Superman then that would be great. Then Harley Quinn vs Wonderwoman maybe good to watch too.

Potentially it sounds more exciting, I agree with that. But also your last point is key as it is with everything in life. It needs to be delivered and intriguing. For me, DC have better comic villians but hopefully we see that translated within the DCCU.

I'm not sure. Some of them look fine, but it's probably not that difficult to get Rick Flagg and Captain Boomerang right. Don't really like Deadshot or Killer Croc in this image.

Yeah Killer Croc looks like that Goomba from the Super Mario Bros movie. Kind of looks looks like a b movie from scifi channel. Still looking forward to this, Margot Robbie will kill it.

That's a shitty casting for Harley Quinn. She should be a lot shorter (not that Margo Robbie isn't gorgeous, she just is a poor choice for Harley Quinn based on looks).
Harley has to be the cutest psycho around. Considering how bat shit crazy Margot went in Wolf, I am very excited for her in this role. The rest of the squad looks good too, especially Deadshot in full suit.
I actually think it's the best of the lot.
I've heard others say that too. I guess Harley isn't that beloved a character to me so I care less about comic book accuracy for her, and I've actually been really stoked with the set pics etc so far.
In the squad itself or the whole film? My favourite is by far Leto as Joker.
