God only knows what would happen if we had to play away at anfield or city in this form minus vidic.

We must regroup and put this out of our minds. 3 points up for grabs on saturday and its vital we get them considering the berties are at chelsea on monday.

A decent performance and few goals would be nice!

Tough game.

If Basel are the Barcelona of this season. Wolves are going to be the Real Madrid.

I expect their Ronaldo to give us loads of problems.

1-0 to us...probably our in form secret striker OG.

or we turn the corner and knock 5 in and get the winning and scoring mentality back.

It has to happen sooner or later

Agreed.

The CL game's in the past now, let's learn from our mistakes, refocus and let's grab the 3 points and mount a serious title challenge.

Fact is, City are looking strong in the league and they want the league more than anything else. If United can't kick on then our noisy neighbors will run away with the title.

Can't remember the last time an easy game on paper turned out to be an easy game.

They stopped our unbeaten run last year.... So not really!!

there are no easy games for us the way we are playing.

Expecting us to do what we did after the City-match. Focus on the defending, play a possesion-based game and bore the death out of the opposition so we can nick a goal.

we will win by a decent margin

i have a feeling SAF will be failry annoyed and embarrassed after the last couple of results in cup comps.

We are due a big win and there is no better time than this weekend

United even managed to struggle a bit in both games against Unirea unioncock whatever their name is.

We'll struggle and maybe a scrape a 2-1 victory. Can't see us keeping a clean sheet without Vidic.

I'd love nothing better than smashing Wolves on Saturday for obvious reasons.

Sadly I doubt that will happen

In current form and with the injuries we've had I really think we'll struggle against Wolves. We're struggling to create chances let alone score them!

Would you rather Chelsea or city away you smart arse twat?

Actually playing a team like Wolves could be the worst thing that could happen.

THe players will be down and on edge at the moment. The media will be watching like hawks for the slightest signs of weakness and Wolves, who are no pushovers at the best of times will come, on the back of some pretty good results recently with added confidence. They will target the young inexperienced players knowing the pressure is on them.

Personally I would prefer going to somewhere like Anfield or COMS, because no one would give us a cat in hells chance and any result ( win or draw ) would be seen as a good result, given our poor performances this season.

If we dont get a comfortable win on Saturday, we are going to get absolutely mullered by the press and that in turn will dent confidence even more..

LOL @ this thread.

My advice for you is:
Watch 2011 CL draw => Assess our chances => Watch the group stage games => If you still think this thread makes sense => Repeat.

I'd take 1-0. I think we'll struggle, but if we want to stay in the top four which has to be the realistic target then we should be winning this game.

Wholesome changes. The 'fringe' players will play their heart out.

I hope.

Like against Palace?

No matter who plays, it will be a painful unwatchable borefest. Hopefully we'll nick the win like we did so often last season.
