I have to admit that watching Fabinho against Barca tonight infuriated me.

It got me thinking about all of the obvious transfer targets we should’ve at least been in for if not landed the past few years.

This is going to make for painful reading, but our lack of club vision is criminal. It isn’t even as if most of these players were big money signings. All it would’ve taken was a bit of common sense and conviction.

There are more than a handful of others without even mentioning our alleged scouting of De Jong and De Ligt which apparently fell on deaf ears at the executive level.

Then there are players we never should’ve let go like Rafael, Keane, Blind, Zaha, Chicharito and King who are all better than the options we currently have in their positions and/or could still be playing a squad role for us.

I have no words.

How the feck is Woodward still in a job.

If the obvious targets yet again go elsewhere this summer it’s time for some proper fecking protest.
