I didn’t say the burnt it because if trump

But they did it while Trump was president

And now, that nothing changed, they are not doing it

Marcos ...

By "the leftsts burning cities" you're referring to the wave of protests that kickstarted after the killing of George Floyd. Lets look at some dates:

  • Donald Trump was the president from 20th January 2017 to 20th January 2021, four years. If you want to you can use the election as a reference as well, a couple months earlier in both cases.
  • George Floyd was killed May 25th 2020, that's more than three years into Trump's presidency. The protests began the next day, and ramped up during the week, then gradually got smaller and went away during June. Some of it continued throught the summer, it was over long before Trump lost the election in November.
What are you talking about?

My brain can't get pregnant!
I was answering more to your question about whether or not people actually believe that current administration is seen as a progressive. And the answer is yes. Lot of liberals buy into such BS.
You have RINO's.

You definitely have far, far more LINO's

The trouble is most people don't know what a liberal or progressive actually is, let alone a socialist (dirty scary word)

The people you are talking about aren't Liberals or progressives at all. They are right wing and centerists. The trouble is the political spectrum has been so distorted in the USA, the vast majority haven't got a fecking clue what they are.

just the same outcry as if the republicans were doing all that

but leftist hypocricy is not new

btw, migrants children are sent to Disney now?
WTF are you talking about? This thread is full of leftists complaining about Biden. That's what most of the thread is. You're so out of it you couldn't even find a proper liberal to straw-man.

That’s.... good?

I’m sure someone will find a way to make it seeem bad, based on the contents of the thread so far. Oh well. Might as well enjoy the feel good vibe while it lasts.
Should always have gone into Afghanistan, should never have gone into Iraq.

No issue with us leaving Afghanistan now. Could envision us back in some form within a decade, though. History tends to repeat itself.

I don't know how the ad sense stuff works. Have you visited Fox sites lately ?
Never. This is my work computer and I live in Madison and work for a vey progressive company. There is a 75% chance that foxnews is blacklisted.

Yea but 20k posts means no ads.
Hmm......

This brings up a point, you should start up a caf economy based on the selling and trading of post counts. @Rado_N. just think of the virtual cafbucks you could make with that many extra posts!

Then it must be all the nonsense about Trump and Fox here in the CE - coupled with your location (swing state etc)

Barack Obama has delayed his planned troop withdrawal in Afghanistan, meaning there will now be 8,400 US forces in the country when he leaves office in January.

The US president’s most recent estimate for that figure was 5,500. In 2012, he promised that the war would be over by 2014

vibing since 2012.

i was meaning to do actual reading and write a long-ish post, but boiling it down, biden's grades (relative to expectation/campaign)

economic policy: 7/10
domestic policy: 0/10 (border, drugs, etc)
foreign policy: 3/10

tbh, i was expecting it to be something like 4-7-1, so at least he surprised me.

0/10 ? You should give at least some justification to that?

He mentioned the border which Biden has not take any real action on improving from the trump years and cannabis and drug reform has been swept under the rug with Biden even firing staffers for past marijuana use even though they came from sates where it was legal. He's shown himself to be no different from trump so far on those issues.

Depending on where you put the vaccine rollout (economic or domestic), I'd agree you could maybe give him higher marks on domestic policy but he's been rather abysmal even compared to candidate Biden.

I mean, surely the public health issue outweighs in significance the border and drug issues?

Wherever you classify the PH stuff it is not an excuse for the border debacle or drug issues. Different departments handle each of those, and they all have confirmed cabinet heads. The fact nothing is changing means that it is not a priority, or, more likely, Biden is fine with how things are. I would give him a 1 on domestic policy (removing PH). He gets 1 point for not fomenting a rebellion.

By "drug issues" you mean marijuana legalisation or something else as well?
