I hope people don't mind having a thread for the clear out that's inviting to all sorts of tweets and rumours for those of us desperate for some traction, even if it's quashed almost as soon as it is published.

Rashford currently wants Barca, Barca don't want him, but maybe on loan (Deco not keen on him, Flick doesn't mind him that much). Mourinho linked with a 35m bid for Rashford, and Turkey do have money to burn it seems.

Antony still only linked to Betis who seem to be taking the absolute piss here. We should have given them a deadline to get their shite together, and then tried to seek other opportunities for him (i.e. Leverkusen, Atletico).

Sancho was linked to Napoli, but that went cold. Juve seem to be interested and may have suggested some very low fee (8-9m) but wages are an obstacle. He allegedly rejected a 180-200K contract offer at his boyhood club.

Garnacho is not strongly linked to any club, but it has been briefed through his people that he wants to remain in England, which suggests only Chelsea really.

Malacia has not been linked to anyone since returning to the club apart from Celtic, which is a recent link. Albeit, Celtic would need United to subsidise his wages. But it makes sense to have two crocks rather than just the one in Kierney...

Casemiro looks set to stay for the final year of his contract, Shaw has not even been mentioned by anyone, Onana was linked to Monaco but United allegedly want silly money for him, Hojlund seems to want to stay, and that's about it.

Feel free to post any rumours or tweets here for the desperate souls that cling to a genuine clear out.

The number of players have on big money that we can't get rid of without a massive pay off is depressing and it's killing the club in the transfer market and financially off the field.

Casemiro, Rashford, Sancho and Antony alone account for around £55m-£60m per year in wages. Then you've got Mount, Shaw and Maguire accounting for close enough to £30m every year. It's obscene the wages we pay, only to finish 15th. I don't think there's an example of a worse run club in absolute spending terms.

Well, Maguire, Casemiro and Sancho are all in the last year of contract. I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume Antony goes this summer in a permanent transfer (or an obligation that's an actual obligation loan). Shaw unfortunately has two years remaining on his deal and hasn't been so much as linked with anyone. Mount may still prove useful though of course he's earning way too much, cost way too much.

The biggest question for me here are Rashford and Garnacho. The latter of whom we might regret selling, especially if it's for peanuts, while the former would be an absolute masterstroke to get out of the club permanently this summer.

Anyhow, I'll keep updating this thread. Hopefully it'll be relatively frequent.

What's Monaco's £££££ looking like these days? Any chance they could put a sneaky bid in for Rashford and get the gang back together? Rashford and Pogba linking up a la prime lock down ball, the tik tok compilations would go mental.

Betis are taking the piss a bit. They’ve sold a couple of players for decent money (did they sign one too?) yet still cry poverty.

The problem is that it feels like these players are conspiring with certain clubs to make the deals happen. Making no effort to try to get a move elsewhere and just staying quiet until we cave and give them the moves they want. Probably loans to the likes of Betis and Barca, maybe Garnacho to Chelsea for cheap. They’re not making it easy for us by eliminating the market.

I feel bad for Malacia out of the group, doesn’t seem to have caused any issues, but I guess we’ve wanted a no-nonsense approach for a long time. It’ll be interesting to see how many are left once the window closes.

Monaco will finally be able to achieve what we never did - unlocking Pogba.

Seems it's not just Betis who are taking the piss, but Antony too. So not just Rashford, Sancho and Garnacho making trouble.

Jesus Christ, how do you buy a player for £15 million and still make a loss trying to sell him

The least noise we have is about Garna. And that's a surprise because you would think he would gather the most interest.

I’m hoping the kit all bugger off to Turkey as they seem to be the only Europeans that will pay inflated salaries.

Malacia - he can’t be on massive salary surely?

By hiring a Dutch manager who will only buy either Dutch players or players he’s worked with previously, then have his own agent be in charge of all transfers for the club. Oh and have that agent also employ the manager’s son as a go-between.
And spend £600million on transfers/fees in two years.

Yeah that about sums it up

To be honest, I expect all of these players to leave on a free, except Gerancho, we lack selling experience to offload any of these players. I don't understand how and why we are incompetent and absolutely clueless when it comes to selling players.

This thread will roll onto the 2026/27 season with the same players.

You forgot the thing where they kept the biggest united your channel in their back pocket. There was a time when ETH and SEG were untouchable on that particular channel

I think it's probably just the case that clubs are waiting until later in the window to try and strongarm Utd into selling/loaning Antony/Rashford/Garnacho on the cheap.

And I hope if it's the case Utd have told the players and their agents what their valuations are and reminded them the World Cup is next year.

How on earth did the old board think that he deserves this salary??

The new board is making the same mistakes. Diallo was reportedly on 30k and we quadrupled it. Cunha was reportedly on 120-150k at Wolves and we tossed another 50k on top of that for a reported 200k. It's a United thing.

I think both deals are reasonable. Maybe just a bit too high. Incomparable to what we did in the past.

Only cash we appear to be making this summer is from sell on clauses. Let's just give all our players away for free with a 40% sell on and let other clubs do the deals we evidently can't

Amad on 120k is okay, more the issue that there should be a wage cap and consistency in wages. That’s why the Sanchez and Ronaldo deals were so disastrous, led to disharmony and blew up any coherent wage structure. Then you had players asking for whatever they wanted, relative to those two.

Some dodgy rumours linking Garnacho with Villa, Rashford being "offered" to Liverpool, and Hojlund being of interest to AC Milan.

I'll take dodgy rumours over nothing, mind.

Well Rahford, Antony and Sancho have at one point in time shown more potential than Garnacho ever has, so there's that.

They're all holding the club to ransom with their preferences, I'm be shocked if we sell any of them

I don't think they have many options anyway mate. Only player that might have other options is Antony. Who wants Sancho and Rashford ?

Only teams I can see want them and are willing to spend a bit are in Turkey and Saudi.

Might get moving when Osimhen gets sold to Gala and they will have funds to reinvest. They just won the league, will want to secure that spot and further progress in the CL. Had a great underrated purchase form us with McTominay winning them the scudetoo and MVP. And lastly they are not afraid to spend, they did so with Osimhen before too. Got KDB for free..

I can see they might wanna take a punt on Rashford too. Rashford wouldnt have so much competition and would be in the spot light next to McT. Makes a lot of sense but won't happen.
