Having seen his keeping regularly, we overpaid at 4.3M so just having him away and not having to pay all his wages is a bonus.
 
The lack of outward movement is really frustrating

No permanent sale of Onana, Bayinder. Rashford still on the books with what looks like absolutely zero interest.

My issue with not being able to sell players who clearly have no future here, the "deadwood" like Bayinder, Onana, Rashford is that the "fringe" players that we could look to sell to replace to improve the squad are likely going to stay. For example, Zirkzee - easily replaceable and we could get a better back up ST. Dalot - while a consistent performer he could be sold and a better RB signed. Mazroui - Same as dalot. Maguire and Shaw are staying for one more year - due to lack of funds coming in it's hard to sign players with our current budget.

Likely we'll just see loan deals or cheap sales like Vitek, Gore, Collyer.

Frustrating
 
I’d much rather see likes of Bayindir and Zirkzee going on loan than staying at the club, if teams don’t want to buy then there isn’t a lot that can be done. We keep players too long before trying to offload them.

The club is clearly very reluctant to commit funds on wages and transfers if they don’t know whether or not players will be leaving. Seeing players leave should hopefully see some players brought in a bit quicker.
 
Odd buy option given he’s on a free next summer (I don’t see why we’d take up the +1 option) but I’d have literally taken anything to move him on.
 
Celta will cover United’s payment of his salary during the campaign, and payments will be due to United if performance clauses are hit. The buy option is a little bit under €4m.

So could be more than 4m if option met and performance clauses met.

We didn't sell him outright. It's just a loan with an option to buy, and they probably won't even trigger it. I agree he didn't set the world alight. But he is Turkey's 2nd goalkeeper, and it is frustrating to see every Jack and Bob from other clubs fetch money while we have to pay others to play our players.

I actually don't think Bayindir is utterly useless so I imagine he'll have a semi decent loan and they'll buy him.

I don’t see Amass going unless we bring in Hall but Vitek, Wheatley and Collyer should bring in £20 million in pure profit as they’re academy players which added to the money for Hojlund, Greenwood and Fredricson rounds it off to around £70 million.

Add that to loan fees for Onana, Bayindir and most likely Zirkzee plus their wages added to Casemiro, Sancho and Malacia off the books and Ugarte’s being paid until he’s back from injury and it does look a lot healthier as we’ve only spent £83 million so it’ll be a net spend of around £13 million and around a million a week off the wage bill.

I think we’ll end up signing Hall and Baleba before the window closes unless Tchouameni does become very available due to Rodri signing for Real pushing him out, if we were to hypothetically sign Hall and Baleba for £100-£120 million or Hall and Tchouameni for a bit more our net spend would be around £150 million which is what all the credible journos were saying months ago.

Amass is not ready to compete with Shaw and it’s too risky to rely on Amass as option since Shaw has bad injury record in his career. So I think he will go on loan.

We should be able to find buyers for Wheatley as he had decent professional football minutes last season but I’m not expecting more than £10m, could be around £5m max.

Collyer lacks of professional football minutes in his career, struggling to even play in men’s football so I have doubt any club will want to invest transfer fee money on him.

So, with Onana (thankfully) already gone and deals seemingly set for both Vítek & Bayindir, the GK situation now looks settled for the coming season.

Karl Darlow backing up Lammens with Heaton as the experienced third choice.

Good, so...GK is sorted...now just need to sort out the rest!

Really good transfer window both for outgoings and incomings. If we do get a Hall level LB and a Baleba/Tchouameni level DM for a net of £150 million, I'd give it a 8.5/10 rating. Was hoping for a CB and a Striker, but these are probably positions were you'd need an extra £150 million to make them count, so probably next summer's priorities.

Ineos' hit rate is quite high so I have faith in the process. The fact we aren't splurging the cash also goes some way to strengthening United's bargaining power in future negotiations.

I think we’d got rid of Rashford and Zirkzee as planned we’d have brought in an experienced striker so now it’s a case of versatility up top for the seaaon, I’d imagine after addressing the forward line last summer and seemingly midfield this summer it’ll be the defence next summer so probably a right back and a couple of centre backs
 
Atleast something is happening today, by the looks of the rumours, hope there's more to come(go).
 
Putting the likes of Shaw, Mount and Rashford on huge wages is why it's so hard to shift them. Maybe if they were on lower money then we could be able to get better at sales in the future

Not sure how rated he is - though we do need to start selling our academy players for some half decent amounts in general. If the offers are 1-3 million, just send him on loan somewhere instead
