Anyone having a wallpaper worthy image of any of his free kicks?
Becks and Bebe had a nice thing goingIf Galaxy had a half decent striker, they'd win the title at a canter.
I know. I actually had as an expression every time.Every time he swung out one of those crossfield balls I let out a moan. It was delightful.
thank heavens for a voice of reason.I doubt you will find any Utd supporters who did not appreciate how good he was and what he did for the club.
You will find some (like me) who does believe he was a tad overrated though.
He was one of our best player during the possibly the greatest time in our history.... wtf!But then I never did understand his iconic status.......
yep!If you can't appreciate Beckham, you have no soul.
Home grown, instrumental player at a defining point in our history, treble winner.EricaNo7; said:I never did understand his iconic status.......
but but..... I don't get itHome grown, instrumental player at a defining point in our history, treble winner.
Add to that very good looking and what more do you need for a player to be iconic ?Home grown, instrumental player at a defining point in our history, treble winner.
Totally, Butt surprised me more than all of them, thought he did a very good job.It was great seeing him back at OT pinging balls around, looked like he really enjoyed himself too. Think he was also quite mindful that it wad Gazs night, not wanting to take the free, refusing to do a lap of honour with him.
I also really enjoyed seeing Butt back, another class player and great servant to the club.
We were unbelieveably privileged to have witnessed these lads come through at Utd.
i doubt it, as LA Galaxy are playing on the 3rd and 6th of August and Scholes' testimonial is on the 5thhope to see him for scholes' testimonial..is he coming?
thanks for the information...i doubt it, as LA Galaxy are playing on the 3rd and 6th of August and Scholes' testimonial is on the 5th
That young ginger fella who retired this summer?Hasn't he got to be the best passer of the ball of all time? Who else has ever had that ability to hit 70yrd passes on such a super humanly consistent basis?
He doesn't give a shit about the Galaxy. He barely plays when he's on the pitch now. I'd bet he'll be there.i doubt it, as LA Galaxy are playing on the 3rd and 6th of August and Scholes' testimonial is on the 5th
Interesting name. I like it. Don't like the "Seven" though. Hopefully she won't get obese: Harpoon Beckham. He named his daughter Harper Seven. Seven is an allusion to his shirt number at United, right?
#davidbeckham chosen for #MLSAllStar First XI to play United on July 27th...
He has too! feck Galaxy, this is Paul Scholes' testimonial! He did miss a Galaxy game for Neville's testimonial, don't know if he'd be cheeky enough to repeat the trick.
