I argued for Neil Diamond over you, to be honest, and I don't regret it.Sorry, I’ve failed you all.

I guess playing Pogba in front of Matic, Fred/DVB/McT is still OK, just no responsibility and do whatever you like, stay outside of our own box.Not sure what we are doing now but whatever we do we should keep Pogba benched. That will take care of a lot of issues.
For example say we play midfield 3, if you play Fred, McT and Bruno thats a good balanced midfield. Heck if you play Matic DVB and Bruno thats still nice and balanced.
Literally any combination of our players will do....without Pogba.
You try to fit him in thats where you run into problems.
I thought McTominay and Fred were well under par last night compared to how good they've been previouslyThis is the way forward. Last night game vs Aston Villa was arguably our best performance against quite a decent team, especially considering Bruno had a game off, and McTominay was half - fit.
DDG
AWB Bailly Maguire Shaw
Fred/Matic
van de Beek/Fred-------------Pogba
Bruno
Rashford - - - - - - - -Martial
We probably didn't hold tight to that formation but it seemed clear to everyone what to do. Pogba had a fantastic game with a bit more freedom, Rashford looks equally threatening from the right.
McTominay is out of form so we can play more of Matic and van de Beek in the first XI.
Against a team that won’t sit back probably yes but against Wolves or West Brom or Sheffield United or Burnley 4231 is more suitable. This is the way forward. A voice of reason in a sea of insanity.Yesterday we played the usual 4231 with Pogba on the left and Rashford on the right
