Saw Will Keane scored again for Wigan today. It's good to see him settled at a club and doing quite well after all his injuries.

Super post. Can I add one? George Broadbent is at Rochdale on loan from Sheffield United and has nine appearances. He's been in and out of their team in League 2.

Great post by @kundalini much appreciated.

Also quite humbling read, i had big hopes for a few of those players. Periera, Januzaj, Wilson, Gomes. Really shows you how difficult the stepup is to top tier mens football. Unfortunately it puts a wet blanket over my hopes for our current hopeful batch of young talents.

Good to see Oliver Denham starting for Cardiff at Anfield. 19-year-old defender. Left United in the summer of 2020.

Wilson scores in 83rd minute to bring Vale back into the tie. Trailing 2-1 now.

Typical poacher's tap in goal.

I think James just came into the wrong era by a few years.

In another time he could have been a superstar but his style of play as a forward is just a bit outdated now for teams at the top level.

He is a pure goalscorer though

Wonder where Adnan ends up then? Shame he's been let go.
I thought he was quite decent when I saw him earlier in the season. I'm guessing there might have been some behavioral problems or something.
If that's the case he probably ends up in Turkey or Greece.

Rothwell signed for Bournemouth so the Pearson - Rothwell partnership reunited in the PL (I doubt both of them will play regularly for them tho)

They also have Robbie Brady there but he barely played.

Happy for Joe and Ben to finally get a crack in the Prem.

Didn't both of them leave the summer van Gaal came in? Feel like at least one of them might have gotten a few games had they stayed on. We were so desperately short in midfield at that point that I was surprised one of them didn't get a run out in that Moyes season.

People can say what they want about our youngsters, but the fact is - a big percentage of our best players at U23 level end up in the P.L - sooner or later. That is not the case for the majority of the other big clubs

LVG took Goss to the pre season instead.
