Utd fans don't deserve this - they have been loyal to a fault since Ferguson retired and gave that awful 'support your manager' speech.

They have endured one of the most inept, bizarre, comical CEO performances in elite sport history. A performance so bad that books will be written about it once the dust has settled and media is less paid off and free to talk about it.

But while Utd fans don’t deserve this - the Glazers and Woodward do. And I would encourage all Utd fans to take some catharsis in that fact. Perhaps even try to laugh AT them rather than let them continue to depress you.

They deserve to be the laughing stock of elite sport and after the entitled, nepotistic, cowardly way that Manchester United has been run for the last 8 years, let them have their just desserts… let them have their faces stuffed with the heady concoction of failure that they’ve created for themselves.

Yes, they may benefit financially from this great football club, but the humiliation they’re currently being subjected to due to their woeful, hilarious methods of trying to run a club is exactly what they deserve.

As owners they have inherited not just great personal wealth - but also one of the most loyal, placid fanbases in elite football, and they have misused that loyalty and shirked the true responsibilities that proper owners need to make.

They avoid investing in a stadium that needs attention, they avoid putting in place a proactive, modern footballing structure because it’ll shed light on their rotten methodology, they avoid investing in the local community…

And because they’ve gotten away with it, they’ve clearly reached the point of carelessness where they thought they could get away with employing a manager who is essentially nothing more than a scarecrow for them to keep fans placated… and then when the inevitable footballing reality caught up with them, they’re now trying to avoid doing ANYTHING as owners.

They’ve had their pants pulled down as owners, and make no mistake - they fecking deserve it.

You don’t deserve this as Utd fans, so rather than continuing to feel miserable, laugh at them.

Laugh at the Glazers and Woodward. It was always gonna come to this. They have had this coming for years, and though it’s a miserable place for Utd right now, the club ultimately needed to reach this point to move on from the completely broken culture that runs through it and the laziness of its owners.

They’ve given him nearly £400m. This ‘whatever happens it means the owners are bad’ stuff which is a hangover from the ill feelings about the takeover stuff gets old. Their mistake was being too lenient but fans were al singing his name until very recently too

But it's just not about spending money though. Making the right decisions at the right time is what a right management does. Else you are setting yourselves to failure.

We have shit owners post WW2. Always people who have taken money out and always put profit ahead of success. But these guys are the worst by far.

You're a consumer of a product. That's about it. Manchester United as a local organization, tethered to the city it was founded, died when the Americans took over it as a purely commercial enterprise. Do Apple customers cry that they don't deserve whatever it is they're getting? No. They'd move on to Android. In the marketplace of global entertainment, Manchester United offers a specific brand - so far, its customers are staying put.

They’re negligent, incompetent, inept owners of a football club.

They treat employees like shite, and the same goes for ex players. Ole doesn't surprise me after the way their right hand man Ed broke Rio's termination to him.

Sorry, but they are terrible owners. The money spent is irrelevant when it is spent badly. They get every appointment wrong. That makes them bad owners.

Worst thing happened 14 wins out of 19 games, or whatever it was, Glazers were coming in there pants, cheap cheap cheap.
We've found the one here, others did as well, at the time we had players who would Respect Ole, then he Changed the squad to his ditrement was what was needed.
Now the squad has to many big egos for Ole to deal with and he's basically put a squad of players who have to quote Roy , thrown him under the bus. And he has to go because it had to happen, and just hope this does not diminish his legacy at UTD.

I don't think it will it's put a dent in it, and that's it.

Once Ole is out, there is no longer any insulation for the Glazers and their bankers. I would expect the hatred towards them to be fully exposed pretty soon.

That's why they deserve this. The Glazers only get away with it because the fans won't turn on them because it means turning on the club.

Joel Glazier does not understand professional football, nor business. He just took his windfall from daddy lets Woody convince him all is rosey at United.

Woody has mismanaged the club for ten years, giving his equally inept mates jobs, and we are at the stage where we have incompetence across the club, wether its board members, managers, coaches or physios. The recruitment of talent has been woeful and I expect the next manager to be another failure too.

This club is just run by incompetent people. Would love to see what clever footballing people could do with us.

United fans deserve it for believing that time is what makes someone a great manager, rather than talent and ability. For apparently "seeing things" that Ole was doing on the pitch - that nobody else outside of their echo chamber could.

The board are incompetent, but i don't believe that other football clubs are run by geniuses. They do get valuable feedback from their fans/supporters though, which tells them if/when they need to take action.

United fans absolutely deserve this. I can't believe how long it took to convince people Ole wasn't the one. Also remember that sanctimonious moaning that got Jose to keep his job when it was reported he was getting canned after the Newcastle game. The board don't know jack and listen to the fans who are themselves overly naive and delusional about manager's prospects.

Like how hard was it to see Ole didn't have a style of play? how hard was it to see he was parking the bus as a crutch? and that spending a billion wasn't going to turn him into Klopp? God and the Klopp comparisons, absolute low point. Can't even forget it was not only common but even acceptable to insult anyone who questioned him.
