Hojlund seems all but done and one would imagine Malacia will find a club today, not that it’ll make or break our finances.

That just leaves the thinking man’s c**t, Mr J Sancho…

And one of Onana or Bayindir if we sign a new keeper.

Malacia's loan to Elche is almost done from what I have read.

I have no confidence that Malacia will find a club. Surely our stance has been that we will pretty much give him away all summer. It's not like we would have had some asking price that we are suddenly going to lower.

I hope I'm wrong for his sake and he at least finds a loan.

We've been getting slightly better at selling players which is good.

Considering we are coming from a position of weakness with our players being in terrible form. Clubs like Chelsea sell from a position of strength and do so well from it.

So we are now left with Sancho. Do we trigger his extension to force him to move or just pretend he does not exist for a year?

I'm not convinced he is bothered about playing anymore. I wouldn't trigger an extra year, we will not get thato money back.

No way we should trigger the extension. By next season this shit chapter will end. His and Casemiro's wages off the books will be a huge burden off of the club.

How is that going to force him to move? Useless cnut will be ecstatic that he can sit on his arse and play FIFA for another 2 seasons instead of 1.

Normally that will work, most footballers will want to play and the idea of sitting on the bench for 2 years will incentivice them to move.

Glad to see Antony has gone.

But seeing how much he went for, compared to how much we paid for him, shows just how terribly we have been run.

We paid through the nose for one of the most useless players ever to wear the shirt.

Most footballers aren't Jadon Sancho.

I don't think he even cares about playing anymore and just wants to get paid for doing nothing. He's even deleted all football related posts from his Instagram.

I'd be genuinely surprised if he plays for another club after leaving us.

After the first five games it was obvious that we have been robbed. Other big money flops like Coutinho, Neymar, Pogba at least had talent. This guy was never ever going to be good enough. What a colossal waste of money. Unbelievably bad deal.

More joy with Sancho going to Villa on loan. 80% wage coverage is not too shabby. A loan fee I am sure covers the rest.

We closed the regular season window with close to £85m in sales. Got rid of most of the players we wanted out. Although, may not be at the prices we hoped for. Hopefully, one of Onana or Bayindir and Malacia will be out before the window shuts in Turkey/Saudi in the next 10-11 days.

WIth Onana gone the total saving in wages from sales and loans amount to a cool Gbp 1.1m/week or 57.2m/year. Even if we assume that the four new signings are earning a combined Gbp 500k/week. We are saving ~Gbp 31.2m/year. Not bad.

Why no wages saved for the players we sold? Can someone enlighten me?

I can imagine the technicalities but other than the transfer fee we received, we dont have to pay the wages we would be owed for the coming year for them. That makes the numbers even better.

Hopefully Malacia is also shifted out of the club soon, it would yet increase salary savings, even if insignificantly.

If the 75k a week wage is correct, it's about 4m a year in savings. Not to be sniffed at.

We would probably need to subsidize part of the wages, so economy gains would be less. But still something

If he is really on that salary we should bring criminal charges to ETH and his agent.

Clearly taking the piss by shunting out Alvaro (without giving him much of a chance) just to bring in malacia, who conveniently is from the same agency.

I am not sure if Vivell/Jason got the network/pull compared to citi/liverpool but we need some luck in the market and hope our next signings will be few very good ones.

Even during SAF glorious era, Liverpool used to sign some good players like Alonso, Torres and Suarez. Hope we could get few like that.
