The left-winger market…

I'm talking selfish from a purely Bosnia perspective. United should of course go for the top talents like him and take their time to develop him properly. If I look purely from a Bosnia perspective, I'd prefer if he went elsewhere for a few years so there is less risk for his development as United's been pretty high risk for players the last 10 years (and either way, he wouldn't get as many minutes as he should right now to build off of his last season).
Yes I get that. But we need to get players before they become 70+ million price tags more often, to compete.

Right now we need 4/5 good players, and we can’t afford to spend 300+ million.

The big difference between playing for us and Bournemouth is pressure. If the signing doesn’t work out, you haven’t overpaid, so the player can be moved without suffering a big loss.

Nusa and Schjelderup are both young wingers with great potential, possibly at a bargain price as well.
Whether they are good enough I'm not sure yet, but Schjelderup is Young Player of the Year in Benfica, and Nusa turns world class whenever he plays for the National Team.

Kinda agree with this. Nusa is very good one on one, but for Leipzig, he plays in a position and formation that isn't getting the best out of him. I think he could be an exciting prospect for our right wing. Schjelderup almost looks even more electric?

They're both very much left wingers, I'm not sure Nusa has ever played on the right wing.
I think Schjelderup has more in his bag than Nusa, while Nusa is more extreme with what he's got going on. Both young with a very high upside.

Bazoumana Toure. Hoffenheim's Ivory Coast international. This lad can proper fly and has been linked with a host of PL sides for a potential transfer this summer. Could be one who sees his value increase over the coming weeks should he continue to impress on the international stage.

I don’t think he’s United quality personally, but who knows. He’s certainly fast though.

I keep saying it and I know he would cost a bomb and probably have better options but I would love Kroupi, can play all along the front line so covers us at lw and striker. I thinks he's going to be elite

Agreed but can’t help but think he’d be off to Liverpool. They’d be mad to spend more than £80m on a player this window though

It will be interesting to see how much game time he gets during the world cup. With Diomande and Amad often selected for the wide positions, the Ivory Coast certainly have options. I noticed he missed their win over France a few days ago - when Amad scored the winner.

Kroupi is class, and I’ve also said I’d love to have him here - however, he doesn’t address our reason for needing a left-winger. The main issue is that we have players who ‘can play there’, but not necessarily naturals in terms of 1v1 ability and off the ball penetration. Kroupi would be the same as Cunha on the left.

Schjelderup ain't it, no way he'll be able to keep up with the physicality in the EPL.

Looking very likely that we won't get a winger this summer. Dorgu/Cunha left, Mbeumo/Amad right and Sesko/New Striker in the middle. Lacey and maybe even JJ getting some appearances. Risky but the likes of Mount or even Bruno/Mateus can go out wide in the event of a crisis.

I would love him and I think he fits the bill for what Carrick likes in terms of versatility and interchanging in the frontline. Maybe a possible big signing for next summer though as can’t see it this summer.

Nah, we need a wide specialist, not a generalist.

Yeah, no idea why I wrote right wing. Nusa is definitely a left winger in a 4-3-3 type system. Get the ball up the pitch and take on his man. He’s quick but not rapid, so he could end up struggling against more physical PL defenders.

Afonso Moreira - speedy, technical, Duracell bunny winger who was mildly linked to us a couple of months ago - is apparently close to joining Leverkusen for €30m.

That'll look like an absolute bargain very quickly.

And they'll sell that Bosnian lad for more probably.

I see Ornstein is linking Arsenal with a move for Tzolis.

Think he could be a shrewd buy at around 35m pounds. Wouldn't mind Utd getting involved to see could they nab him.

Sell it that he would probably get more minutes at Utd than Arsenal.

Would he though? Right now I wouldn’t swap Cunha and Dorgu for Trossard and Martinelli. I reckon he might have an easier time playing his way into their team on LW.

Ya maybe...especially if he takes a good corner!

RBL may actually get 100m after this World Cup

Diomande is a serious talent, giving Hincapie hell against Ecuador

Ridiculous talent. I’ve said it a number of times, if Ndiaye is being quoted at 70m, then I have no problem paying an additional 10-20m for Diomande who is 6-7yrs younger and has more potential

Absolutely

Quite mad that he played most of the match away from his preferred side too

He prefers the right, doesn't he? Ridiculous talent, the guy was playing amateur footy in the US two years ago. He's the one if we want to get a true winger and he is genuinely comfortable on both sides. Would cost half our summer budget unfortunately.

I have no problem either....it's not coming out of my pocket!

Yeah he's the standout talent, however no way are we splashing around £80-£90m on him this summer

Ok source probably like tier 3. I don't think he covers United anymore though.
I was going to post a tweet from the aggregator who credited Rich Fay linking us to Barcola, but checking his profile I can't see any mention of it so likely bollocks.

Yeah certainly sounds like it, so who is the better fit for Utd out of him and Diomande. I can't see us signing either as prioritising LB but just interested to hear opinions

Is Rich Fay considered a decent source or terrible? @mazhar13 @Tom Van Persie
Rich Fay is a good journalist with good sources. He currently writes articles for Sports Illustrated, but I don't know if he's doing that as a freelance journalist or as a full-time employee of theirs.

He still wants to for a media outlet, but he's not doing it for now.
