Chelsea favourites to sign Alajbegovic now, would be a great signing for them for the reported £30m.
I really hope it won't happen. Terrible move for him. Especially if Xabi sticks to his 3-4-3.
Makes only sense if they loan him out immediately. Otherwise, he is not gonna play much, since they don't even play in european comps.
I agree, Atalanta would've been the better move for a season or two.
Guessing he'll be straight out on loan to Strasbourg.

They're looking like a strong contender for the league next season. Already had a good baseline for their squad, now with a better manager, no Europe to contend with and seem to be buying reasonably well.
Presumably Alonso knows him, or at least of him from his time at Leverkusen. He may well go out on loan but I doubt he'd be signing him if there was no way of integrating him eventually. I'm sure he could play a similar role to Morgan Rogers in time.
How many LW do they need?
If we sign the kid it’ll mean either Neto or Gittens will be sold. My guess is Neto who apparently has several clubs keen on him.
I know, he promoted him to the first team, but still doesn't mean much. He is not gonna play enough, even if they sell Neto / Gittens. Would be much better for him atm to go somewhere to play regularly.
Chelsea is just terrible choice, even with Xabi. They can randomly sign another winger on deadline day etc. You just never know with them. Not a club for (his) development. I really hope it won't happen.
Eh I wouldn't worry about the 343 for Kerim. He can play on either flank or as a floating 10 without a problem, and Alonso knows him well. Hate the move purely because I doubt Alonso lasts long there so it all gets blown up anyway (and because feck Chelsea), but looking at it from his side I could see why he'd find it appealing. He's young, being a rotation option with Estevao behind Rogers and Palmer makes a lot of sense for them as a club and for him as a player as the 2 behind the striker. He'll need time to adapt to the big leagues, it's good to be able to develop without the pressure of being a key player, and they'll likely be back in Europe the following season so he'll get lots of games before long anyway. Just training at a big PL club will help him develop at this stage I'm sure, and I do trust Xabi Alonso will use him well given he knew him for a long time at Leverkusen and integrated him from a young age.
Al Hilal trying to sign Ndiaye. Don't think hes the level we need but would be interesting to see what Everton do here as it would drastically weaken them.
I didn't mean that he can't play in that system. It's just that there is one atttacking spot less in starting XI in 3-4-3 than in 4-2-3-1, meaning even more competition for him. Palmer, Rogers, Estevao, Neto, Gittens, Quenda... all fighting for just 2 attacking spots. Even with 4-2-3-1 you have Enzo & J. Pedro as possible competition for no. 10.
I don't know, I still hate the idea, even with some guarantee that he could get from Xabi. You just never know with this Chelsea.

What about Endrick? Heard he needs to go out on loan, he'd be a nice player to have on the wings. Wouldn't cost us too much
Played almost his entire career exclusively on the right and with Amad and Lacey having years ahead of them it’s a non starter, simply paper filler
Again much like with Conceicao he’s another who’s plays on the right although Endrick can also play through the middle, unless Rashford goes we’re not signing a left sided forward as there’s also Cunha and Dorgu there too.

Depending on price of course I would be very happy with him. I think he could be useful in breaking down low blocks, which we often struggle against. Most teams struggle against it I guess, but my point stands.
But maybe I should take it as a sign that no other big clubs are rumored to be after him? Maybe my eye for talent aint what I thought it was!

I struggle to see how Kerim and Yildiz both work in the same side. They both ‘could’ play as 10, although McKennie usually plays there I believe.
Been reading that they plan to transition Yildiz to a #10/second striker. But also, Alajbegovic is only 18, so I wouldn't expect him to be an instant starter anyway. Gives a good option for flexibility to ease in and then move Yildiz to the 10 when Kerim is ready for bigger minutes.
Yildiz needs to get out of that club (and league, tbh). I think he’s paid his dues there, Italy is finished.
Actually saw Di Marzio say he plans to use Alajbegovic as a 10. Who knows really. I think it'll be fine either way.
Yildiz himself, I dunno. I feel like he still has quite a bit of development to do before he should leave. Loads of talent but so far not much consistency and not as effective as he should be. Juve with spalletti will hopefully more attacking and abandon the 3 at the back system that so much of Italy is obsessed with, but we'll see.
I'd take Yildiz to be honest. Still so young and already ready to improve first team. And he can truly play anywhere too. But I prefer him on LW.
Not that many option left in the market now. May be Nico Williams? His output is not that great last season though. Barcola (Liverpool), Rashord, Savinho, and Rafael Leao are still on the market. Yildiz I don't think is available at all.

In a perfect world Saudi's would offer a contract he can't refuse. We want to sell and Italians aren't going to offer anything better than loan with option to buy.

While Rashford is a great player for the right tactic, he is not a good fit for Arsenal. Arteta's tactic requires wingers stay wide on the touchline to stretch the opposition's defensive shape, and use Rice and Calafiori to overload and attack the left half space, while Rashford prefer to cut inside and shoot with his right foot(the same left half space). Arteta probably prefers winger good in dribbling in tight space to unlock low blocks as well. Arsenal last couple seasons struggled to create chances for Martinelli to run behind defender so it will be the same for Rashford as well. It is just not a good fit.

It depends on if the coach's tactic can bring the best out of Rashford. Rashford needs a left full back makes overlapping runs and provide width, and he uses high speed to break fast during transitions. Rashford is very effective for the right tactic.
