We still create nothing outside of Bruno, and we still pose little threat from out wide because our wingers aren't great at dribbling and playing in tight spaces. Rashford, Cunha and Amad are the best in that regard but they're all inconsistent themselves. Every great United team (& top team right now) had at least one winger who dribbled opposition players for fun and put chances on a plate for the CFs. The best we've had in the post Fergie years since Nani and Valencia have probably been Martial in 15/16 and Rashford in 19/20.

At the start of the transfer window I was thinking we needed a quality LW, but with Rashford back now, I agree we could do with a quality RW, otherwise we are relying so much on Amad and Lacey considering Mbeumo just doesn't offer enough there and is also Sesko's backup.
 
After MFs, United needs at least LB, LW (depends on Rashford), RW, CBs, CF. For this and next summer.

If we have Rashford for this season then we should play Dorgu at LB, Cunha LW, Rashford LW and CF. Mbuemo CF and RW, Amad RW.

I have said already that Dorgu is not a LW, for all his qualities, his on ball attributes is quite wantings for a LW. He probably can play there when we play the top 6 if we wanted to. Lacey can rotate with RW, AM, LW. If possible go for a CB is opportunity arises.

I guess this is an example of the privilege you get from being Champion (and English).

Saka has been largely terrible for a long period now, and that level is definitely below what Amad produced season before last I think.

That said, I can’t argue that Amad hasn’t hit the levels he has when he’s been on it.

Well yeah, Saka at his complete worst isn't as good as Amad at his best but I was alluding to Saka having just a good game is better than Amad at his best. Saka at his best vs Amad at his best is a quite clear victory for Saka. Amad is really overrated on here in my opinion. Saka is too by Arsenal fans but I've been fairly up front with my opinion on him on here too.
 
I wish we only signed one of Mbeumo or Cunha and invested other 70M on a proper winger.
Even Sarr from Palace looks like a better deal for few years. This team really need the width.

I know they are not our first choice but Balde and Sarr could add that width(if we sell Zirkzee and buy these 2)

I would move Mbeumo to upfront with Sesko as a backup
Rashford/Cunha to cover left wing for this season and Sarr/Amad on RW might improve our game play.

I like Amad, talented and hard working. But he cant be considered a young talent now.
Make or break season for me, i rate him but he hasnt consistehtly performed and weve had and still have too many players like that been here for far too long.
We have youngsters competing already in lacey and others coming through.
I wasnt mad on us signing Mbeumo, i like him but dont love him.
If i could sign an attacking player before tge deadline, it would be mateus mane

Amad just scores clutch goals in derbies. He will always be overrated for those moments and also what we hope to see on a consistent basis. His injury just before the season starts is absolutely typical of his luck since he's been here as well. If he doesn't put up serious numbers this season, I'd be moving him on.
 
Amad has all the talent. Development isn’t linear, but he has shown everything you would want him to show, fairly often, but all at different times. The challenge for him will be to package his strengths together into something of a regular consistent product and then he can become a really top player. That challenge is one for this season, in my opinion. It has to be now, I think last season was his last he can be afforded of being seen as a young player.

He has it all though. He has wonderful close control and dribbling, a very good short-passing game, can strike a ball very well. He’s excellent out of possession and has a great mentality - he has shown many times for club and country that he can show up when needed most. As said, the challenge is to put it all together with consistency.
