No 6 for Armenia has been brilliant.

Ireland just too slow and casual in everything they are doing. Really poor.

I support Cape Verde now. Gwan Pico Lopes!

Jesus Christ. What are we at? Passing it around at the back, which were feckin useless at btw, when we're chasing a goal.

Our defenders are just constantly passing it to opposition players.

Hopefully Hungary get a point against Portugal later to keep our hopes of top spot alive.

Has to be sacked. This is somehow worse than ever

Ireland need to be studied. Same syndrome that England have in terms of having pretty high standard players but never achieving anything, but obviously way further down the scale - where England can’t win shit with world class players, Ireland can’t even qualify with solid premier league and championship players.

Not only that, but some of the losses are mental. Do Armenia have a single player playing to even championship standard?

Considering the one and only position where we apparently have some strength in depth is in central defence, the lot of them have been utter muck this campaign. And we’re playing a formation where we’ve three of the useless bastards out there, instead of two.

They've deserved this win.

I think Darragh Maloney has said they are 105th in the world about 1000 times, him and Stephen Kelly are a horrible pair of miserable gits to have on commentary. Give them some credit, they've worked harder, more organised, disciplined in defence, have held on the ball better and played with purpose and passion.

We play without a centre midfield, so performances and results like this shouldn’t be surprising.

Surely we need to get a new coach. He is not clearly not good enough, not sure anyone is with these players but doesn't mean we just give up.

On an individual level we've a squad of players better than Northern Ireland with the exception of a couple perhaps and yet for some reason they consistently just don't do it while the North can put up a fight. It's not just solely down to the managers at this stage

That's the problem.

We're guaranteed to be at Euro 2028, no? At least we have that to look forward to...

That syndrome should be called “post Fergie Manchester United”
