It's a good thing you know it's nonsense so that you won't get disappointed.
It's not that far fetched with both Chelsea and Arsenal playing Europa League tonight. They've both been just as inconsistent as we have and have additional games/fatigue. Chelsea vs Arsenal Europa League final could be a Champions League playoff as well.

I'm looking forward to this team of underachievers and fragile personalities finally being broken up.

Honestly its not beyond the realms of possibility that Chelsea drop points in both the Watford and Leceister City games especially if they think they have a good chance of winning the Europa League. Plus Leciester City and Watford are decent teams with decent players who can hurt teams. Haven't people watched Chelsea this season. They are just as flaky as Manchester United.

- Remember when we were all whining about not having a proper RB for years and years? Ole's first real transfer window and he immediately fixed it.
- It looks like we're getting a good CB too which would mean that we will have our defence set for the next 5+ years or so.
- De Gea will probably sign a new contract. Some might be worried about him because he didn't have a spectacular season but when in form he's still (one of) the best keeper in the world and replacing him now would cost at least 60+ million.
- There were times when we used to run the least of all PL teams. Ole seems to be fixing that too.
- Although we haven't signed a DOF yet, it looks like there is a plan/strategy for the coming years.

If we could get a world class defensive midfielder to drive that team on and Martial and Rashford become 25 goal strikers we could push for a top 4 place this year.

Loads of youth in the team is always exciting and something to look forward to, provided they get roles and game time. But players like AWB, Dalot, Tuanzebe, McTominay, Gomes, Chong, James, Greenwood, and even Rashford and Martial are still very young but exciting players with big potential and on their day can be brilliant players. It's not going to be all plain sailing, there will be inconsistency as theres a lot of young players, but I'd much prefer that compared to the 17/18 season where we finished a distant 2nd but it was all shit and so many aging players were given the priority.

Plenty of pacey players as well, which is nice considering not too long ago we had a midfield/attack or schweinsteiger, schneiderlin, fellaini, Mata, Rooney and Martial as the one player with pace...
