They should have him vs Dom as a match for the IC title. Cena hitting it against Dom would be something, and winning the IC title to complete the grandslam before he retires. Although that would mean losing it the next match to somebody.
Yeah I thought that would have been his final title reign in WWE after winning 17 but too late now as he only has 4 more appearances left to go now. Even though there was part of me thinking albeit very unlikely to happen was for Dom to lose the belt to AJ and then for him to lose it against Cena when they were gonna have the match.

Just watching bound for glory now as I couldn't keep my eyes open last night.

The feck is the ending to slater and evans? Was an absolute banger of a match ruined.

After watching the tag team match at BFG, AEW and WWE needa find a way to get edge one last match against Cena. It's criminal edge and Christian weren't at TNA for this match and arguably even more criminal if edge doesnt get to see off cena too.

I hope this leads to Cena putting over Bron as his last opponent. Bron has been ready for some time now.

Just seen on Reddit, and it's a fair enough point, it's crazy out of the 4 of them, Jeff Hardy is the one in best shape.

Just seen a funny image, Iyo sky's interview with CVV that got posted 8 hours ago already has more views than ricochets, just under a year ago.

"I can do EVERYTHING she can, probably even better. She can't do what I am capable of, maybe not even half" is an all time quote. They'll never make me like you, ricochet.

Might be tapping out with AEW for a while if there's not a glimmer of something interesting on Dynamite this week.

Been on an absolutely stinking run since All In.

My weekly watch is pretty much only NXT and even a bit of TNA right now. Only watch the AEW PPVs at this point but nothing about last night interested me tbh.

Raw and smackdown are both pretty hit and miss right now id say.

NXT is where it's at for me.

If I was ranking the weekly shows:
  1. NXT
  2. Raw/Smackdown (almost dropped but the last couple of episodes have been decent)
  3. Impact
  4. Dynamite (just about holding on to this spot)
  5. Evolve
  6. Collision
I don't watch Xplosion or ROH, and if Dynamite doesn't indicate something of interest happening soon then Evolve will end up 4th by virtue of me dropping both AEW shows.

AEW PPVs are usually at least a decent watch, but they've managed to reach new levels of either shite or nonexistent story, and I just don't care enough about a "good" match that's happened for the sake of it.

Who's this Derby Allin fella? Pops up on my Instagram feed all the time, the highlights look pretty decent.

I really want to like him, but his wrestling gear is a teenage girl's outfit, and the coffin drop is a stupid bump to take.

Lots of charisma though, kids absolutely love him.

This gimmick has long since run its course.

I'm not even sure how they end it. The obvious next step for her is properly becoming part of the world title picture, but she can't do that straight off the back of losing a bunch of titles because she'll kayfabe be a huge loser. She's either vacating most/all of them, which is really shit for basically everyone that's been involved so far, or they're going to have to spend some time in rebuilding her after she's spiraled and lost them all, and I don't see them having the patience for that because they've a real lack of star power in that women's division.

Think she needs to lose the TBS title first in a big match.

Then just slowly over time lose a title here or there to whoever the respective title company wants to make champ. Her losing in another company wont really affect her being part of the world title picture cos (if they are smart) they will not really make a big deal of it (and leave that for the respective company).

That's one of my major gripes with the whole thing. Excalibur will actually give some info about what she's won and where, but then you've got Tony Schiavonne laughing about her winning one in Poland.

It's all really inconsistent and they don’t seem to have settled on whether these titles actually matter or whether she's delusional nutter that's basically stat-padding pointless achievements.

I don’t think they can just have her drop them quietly given her whole thing in AEW for ages now has been x belts Mone. Ideally, she'd have started showing cracks when she lost to Toni, so maybe they go that route if she loses to Stat, and it'll culminate in her realising she has to focus on the big one instead of stretching herself across nine or ten promotions across three continents.

As a slight aside, it is fecking impossible to discuss AEW on reddit. Every wrestling subreddit (apart from the shitpost one) is just overrun with the most sensitive weirdos imaginable. Even r/WWE is basically an AEW sub at this point.

Yep it's become beyond a joke.

So enjoying returning to watching wrasslin’ but I really can’t commit to watch two weekly shows, and that’s pretty a pretty basic commitment compared to the whole menu.

Is there some X account or something that gives quick digests for each episode? Something along the lines of

Raw 27th Oct
CM Punks beats LA Knight (Heavyweight contender)
New Day beat Hardy Boys (MFT appear at end)
Paul Heyman promotes The Vision
Lyra Valykria & Bayley beat Nia Jax & Jade Cargill (but Bayley turns on Lyra)

3/5

Feeling you have to “keep up”, and half the time it’s just the same plates spinning every week on both Raw and Smackdown anyway.

I’m under the impression AEW storylines are an afterthought to keep the wheels turning and is far more in-ring focused?

I normally watch the highlights on the YouTube page for WWE, they tend to release pretty quickly after the episodes of Raw/SD air. Then I tune in to the PLE's. Ain't no way I'm sitting through Raw or Smackdown. Haven't done so since the Attitude era.

I watch Raw more than Smackdown the last few weeks but it was the other way round just because it was more convenient to watch Smackdown on a Saturday.

Smackdown is pretty bad at the moment so I tend to skip it and just read what happened. They need to move someone on to Smackdown to give it more star power. I only find the Alexa and Charlotte team interesting at the moment
