COnsidering I have barely played a game since 2013-2014 I can't imagine it feeling much different. I haven't even tried the PS5.

There’s a few Rockstar leaks coming out because they have been hacked again. Crazy money, and I’m not just talking about the $5 billion. Who spends a million on shark cards? What are you buying on there to spend a million?

The enemy AI is comically bad. You’re in a shootout and move about 10 yards away and they’re all like “Hmm, must be gone” and go back to their normal routine
The setting it kind of interesting but I feel zero connection to the world or the characters. Also seems way too easy to just walk anywhere and grab stuff or kill people. Just don’t really see what the hook is here. It’s trying to do multiple things (detective game, fallout style rpg, etc..) but not really being great at any of them.

My dad keeps trying to get me to buy Atomfall but (aside from the fact that I already have a massive backlog of games to get through) I can't help but feel he only enjoys it because he's a 65-year-old man that quite enjoys visiting the Lake District.

The art style in Replaced is outrageously good. I don't love the rest of the game, so far but yeah, this is a stunner to look at.

Yeah I've stopped playing after an hour. Glad I got it cheap on sale a few months back. Full price for that would've felt bad.
For me it was mainly the combat being super clunky. Big bummer because I‘ve played their ZombiArmy games religiously.
Going to re-visit Cities Skylines once I'm done with my latest Football Manager save.

As I watched that I got reccomended more related content and ended up watching a few old tutorial videos in the background lately.
Never got that into it back then, remember spending most of the time trying to build a replication of where I lived and not doing very well.

Playing arkham city for the first time now. Ras al ghuls reveal as the main villain behind protocol 10 was very underwhelming as he dies immediately after. I understand fans frustration with that. Its a great game though and perhaps the best arkham game.
Finally getting into Hollow Knight. For whatever reason didn’t grab me the first couple times I tried it but enjoying it now.

Heroes of Might and Magic - Olden Era is going into early access on the 30th. Really looking forward to it, the demo was already quite fun, and I like how it's looking to be a worthy successor of the third installment of the series.

Just finished the original MSX2 Metal Gear games(A walkthrough guide is needed due to old video game bullshit). Overall given the limitations both are as good as the rest in the series.

Anyone played Pragmata
Just bought it, today for PS5! Seeing it run on the pro convinced me. Well that and good reviews.
After loving silksong, I played through HK. I liked it a lot, but preferred the sequel! I only did the normal ending to HK and it was so much easier than SS.
It's remarkable how bad a shape replaced shipped in on Xbox. I hit a game breaking bug, lost my save (my fault), so replayed were I was up to and I've now hit another bug stopping my progress. A real mess. One heck of a great looking game, though.
Just platinumed Aven Colony. Not a bad sim city clone for the price of one pound fifty on sale.

First one is as genuinely scary and tense. Loved every minute of it but never had a desire to go back to it
As much as I loved Alien Isolation, I'll be surprised if they can create a worthy sequel without retreading old ground. Not that that would keep from playing it anyway.
feck yea!! If they can improve the Alien AI and use modern graphics this will be truly special. The original was scary as feck.

I'm wondering if they may possibly go down the recent RE game and have a tonal and gameplay shift in the second half.
There's also been some rumours that the story may be set pre Aliens on Hadley's Hope.
There are certain aspects of isolation that could be massively improved for the sequel, and honestly that would probably be enough for me to go through the same formula again. At very least they could make the combat stuff more integrated in, because let's face it this one is likely to be a bit more pew pew for modern audiences.
In the meantime, I might go do another playthrough of AvP2 (the OG one) for my shit-your-pants Alien fix. Such a great game that I always forget about when thinking about great game lists.

Has anyone here played Nine Sols? How does it compare to Hollow Knight? I'm thinking about buying it.

I’d be interested in the Hadley’s hope angle but I hope they keep the xeno down to just one for a lot of the game. It’s scarier.
Would be nice if they could do a free next gen upgrade of the original Alien Isolation too before the new game.
After Silksong it's my favourite Metroidvania! I've raved about it a lot on here.
It's a lot more combat and especially parry focused though, so.. if you don't enjoy that one mechanic, you might not like it. A lot less exploration and platforming, much more linear.
I prefer this. I think I'll get it soon. Thanks.
Hope you enjoy it - it has some of the greatest boss fights in gaming.
