More frequently over recent years some side gets to the start of February/March with it still possible. Arsenal fans this season and the media are muttering about it.

Liverpool went very close a few seasons ago. Finished with a cup double but lost the league on the last day and CL final.

City did a domestic treble and went out in the quarters of the CL years ago.

We never really threatened to do it as we largely paid no attention to the League Cup during Fergie's time.

So, will it ever be done?

Considering how unique our treble was (City's doesn't count due to the blatant cheating) I doubt it will ever be done.

Never really threatened it? In 2009 we won the league and league cup, lost the FA Cup semi final and CL final

It'll happen sooner rather than later. Trebles aren't as rare or difficult as they used to be, and a quadruple is just that plus the league cup.

The relative strength of the PL is higher now.
Even spurs made a CL final against the dipppers. (2019)

Still, it's a big ask of any squad that aren't Massive, and cheats.
You're relying on luck and form staying consistent.
