Update on potential Division 1 records being broken with six games left to go:
  • Cardiff City have conceded 18 goals in 32 games. If they concede six goals or fewer in the remaining six games, they'll be the outright holder, overtaking Everton (25) in season 24.
  • Fulham have got the outright record for most draws in a single season with 19, overtaking Plymouth Argyle (17) in season 17. There are six games left to go to extend this record further.
  • Middlesbrough's Diogo Jota has four red cards so far this season. They need just one more to get the outright record for most reds in a season.
Update on potential Division 4 records being broken with six games left to go:
  • Bradford City have scored 135 goals so far this season. They need just 24 more in the remaining six games (4 per game) to get the outright record from Kidderminster Harriers (158) in season 21.
  • Bradford City have conceded 10 goals so far this season. They need to not concede at all in the remaining six games to get the outright record from Gillingham and Mansfield Town (both 11) in seasons 21 and 15 respectively.
  • Bradford City have got 32 wins so far this season. They need to win all six remaining games to take the outright record from Kidderminster Harriers (37) in season 14.
  • Like above, they need to win all six remaining games to get the points record from Kidderminster Harriers (112) in season 14.
  • Bradford City have got a goal difference of 124 so far this season. They need to improve this by 24 in the remaining games to take the record from Kidderminster Harriers (147) in season 21.
Update on potential Division 5 records being broken with six games left to go:
  • Realistically not possible.

@Varun withdraw your bid on Shaqueel van Persie please. Says in OP that bids shouldn't be withdrawn and changed when player value goes up.
That's a shit rule, I should he rewarded for being online to catch the price change. He's mine.

The goal for Leeds is to build an Under 30 or even an Under 25 team of 90+ in a couple of years, so that playing in Division - 1 can be a relative constant.
Here's the predicted line-up for 2025. Looks like I need some wide forwards.

The ones is blue are still a question mark for 90. Which players am I overestimating to come good?

I really doubt Martial will still be able to play wide by 2025, and with his injury issues, staying 90 will be hard to call. Lewis' breakthrough is great for you but think you're still lacking something at RB. Mendes and Enzo are the stars for sure.

And great goal to aim towards. Darlington and Southend United started that way and they've been pretty much Division 1 constants for a while. Hereford are a more recent version to aspire to, and while not completely under 30, Leyton Orient are almost there.

Tried some experiments today as I'm totally stuck in midtable. My GK and DM are probably my biggest concerns right now, but I can realistically only afford one of them and keep funds for growth.

Aim for next season is top 8 and some building more of a squad.

GK is definitely an issue but wouldn't think DM is a problem for you with two players I've sent to you plus Rabiot returning to form.

While I agree, it means that I end up with a depth crisis at fullback then. I don't expect to have my loans forever either, but GK is definitely the more pressing need when I factor in my loans.

I have some 89 CMs you can loan. I also have a better GK you can have on loan too.

Should have come to The Iron Factory from the start.

Thanks for commenting & congrats on your title!

Wide attackers are a real concern. I have a bunch of 'unknown' quantities in my squad, hopefully a couple of them kick-on.
On the RB side, I have high hopes for Geertruida. Hoping he gets a move, focuses on his RB spot and stays fit.
Or you could give me Frimpong.

Division 1 top flight records tables (new entries this season in light purple)

Division 4 records table (new entries this season in light purple)

Division 5 records table (new entries this season in light purple)

I'll do a Division 2 and 3 one at some point in the future.

Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of the league. Without you all, this wouldn't have lasted as long as it has done so far - here's to another 10 seasons if SM doesn't feck things up further.
