I really hope it doesn't go into next year. It's annoying how many apologists there are on the discord who say we voted for it – if the old forums were still around and they mandated that people look at the discussion before voting, I doubt it would have got the majority of votes once spelled out how it needlessly complicates something that is fundamental to the game.
