Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Been confirmed that all facility upgrades take the same amount of time no matter the level. Not been as much discussion on the SM thread as we'd have probably liked, but if we are going ahead with them, here is the minimum stadium capacity for each FFP slot in Division 1 (for Division 2 just add +2 to numbers seen) up to 90k. If anyone decides to go over 90k, it'll affect everyone else's FFP, but their FFP will be 42 and won't go any lower.

Stadium CapacityFFP
85 91242
81 40143
76 89044
72 37845
67 86746
63 35647
58 84448
54 33349
49 82250
45 31151
40 79952
36 28853
31 77754
27 26655
22 75556
18 24357
13 73258
9 22059
4 70960
19861
162

Roughly every 4511 - 4512 seats = 1 FFP space, so if we do decide to go ahead with stadium upgrades, every upgrade will reduce your FFP by 1 to make things simple.
Is that because the calulations right now are done with base as 90k?

Looks like highest anyone can go is 100,000 so maybe we can recalculate with that as the new base?

Yeah it's because of that. I know what the numbers would look like with 100k as the base (everyone else would pretty much go up +2 in space), but the last time there was a poll on increasing FFP spaces the majority was against it, so we'll wait until the possibility that someone goes above 90k before updating the numbers. Unless Spurs decide to upgrade their stadium, that possibility is at least 7 weeks away so no rush.

Cheers

So it's just a matter of when it happens

I’d much prefer the squad space now I’m financially secure.

Just two points separate 1st and 3rd after 18 games.

Season 33 gap was 8 points (United 43, Middlesbrough 35)
Season 32 gap was 14 points (United 49, Leyton Orient 35)

I don't have hard details but I reckon this is the closest it has ever been at this stage.

Definitely the closest I remember for a long time!

I still think you have the edge over everyone.

Nah, my lack of depth shows. Southend and Leyton Orient are also the two sides who usually end up on the better end of results when it matters too.

Plus I have no Mbappe when I'm facing Orient tomorrow.

Reading winger Andre Garcia has joined Belgian side Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee.

I can help you with that

And, no, not Cubarsi. Kim has spoken about wanting to move to a team fighting for the title

Redcafe U21s Best XIs
We’ll take a brief look at the best XI U21 talents (by rating not opinion) in the league. This may lead to future analysis but for now it’s more of a marker. If there is no U21 option it will be marked with X and I’m being strict on position (e.g. so no LW playing RW just because SM says they can unless they get significant mins there).
