That's my full squad, including cup squad. Be interesting to see how it develops this coming season. Only 2 players aged over 24, although that's thanks to the rubbish fullback ratings in this game.

There are a few players available which would be ok squadwise and for the future which don't have a lot of interest in them that I have seen.

In terms of transfers. I don't need to do anymore buying as last season I made sure to buy for the future so I wouldn't need to spend as much in future and it has worked well. This season I'll work towards selling the youth players I don't need and at most I'll make three signings (Lestienne not included):

  • One first team squad player
  • One youth player
  • A striker to replace Michu - unlikely to find, but Benteke would have been perfect if I knew Watford were interested in letting him go.

I'll end up making one signing at most probably as I can't see me finding the player for bullet points 2 and 3.

Oldest midfielder is 24 which is pretty good going. Not as impressive as RS' squad in terms of youth, but I'm fairly happy. Hope some of the players rise sooner than later but I doubt it.

Looks like nobody wants to loan my players. There are a few that could be very handy for some teams - Zouma should be going up to around 87 next time he is reviewed.

I'm very happy with my cupside/reserves now.
Average age: 21
Average rating: 86

Not bad considering I omitted Gokan Inler and Dembele from the side, as I'd consider both more first team members right now depending on tactics Nd potential injury cover. Rabiot 18/82 aswell is one that might be used based on team I'm playing against and injuries.

Code:
GK
Baumann 22/88

DEF
El Kaoutari 23/86
Savic 22/87
Chiriches 23/87
Amat 21/87

MID
Leitner 20/87
Rode 22/87
Ince 20/85
Berardi 18/84

FW
Diego Costa 24/88
Icardi 20/85
(Not as pretty as Damo's and co but it will do!)

So I have another squad of 13 then which is my first team. Very happy with that. Not many more coming through the door I don't think.

That is a good cup side. You even have a good second choice goalie.

A cup side not using any players I'd consider as part of my first team (bar de Gea) would look like this:

Code:
[B]Goalkeepers[/B]
DE GEA, David 22/90

[B]Defenders[/B]
AURIER, Serge 20/87
REYES, Diego 20/87
DIGNE, Lucas 19/87
CLYNE, Nathaniel 22/86

[B]Midfielders[/B]
MCCARTHY, James 22/88
POGBA, Paul 20/87
CANALES, Sergio 22/87
LESTIENNE, Maxime 20/86

[B]Forwards[/B]
MICHU, Perez 27/89
MARKOVIC, Lazar 19/86

   Average Age: 21
Average Rating: 87
Depending on injuries, the side I'd actually put out would probably look more like this:

Code:
[B]Goalkeepers[/B]
DE GEA, David 22/90

[B]Defenders[/B]
SANDRO, Alex 22/89
SMALLING, Chris 23/89
AURIER, Serge 20/87

[B]Midfielders[/B]
ISCO, Alarcon 21/90
MCCARTHY, James 22/88
POGBA, Paul 20/87
CANALES, Sergio 22/87
REYES, Diego 20/87

[B]Forwards[/B]
BALOTELLI, Mario 22/90
MICHU, Perez 27/89

   Average Age: 22
Average Rating: 88
with one of Sandro/Smalling possibly being replaced with Rafael if either of them play in the league game before.

Tranmere have done well in terms of loans. Not a great deal of depth in their squad but being in division 3 and with the stadium capacity they have, it's tough to buy the players unless he does a Trionz/Darlington style approach - which would be tougher now with most of the best young players taken. The permanent signings he has made are good though.

Just got the gold membership, anything other than managing cup competitions that comes with it?

You can manage an international team and there's a Gold shortlist option which means that if you tick that box, the player will be shortlisted in all of the leagues you're in, I think (I've never used that one).

They don't become shortlisted per se, the gold list is an easy reference basically, you can then use it to quickly shortlist players from one world to another.

I see. I am managing just Arsenal in the caf league so I dont really have any use for the gold shortlist.

How do I go about managing a country? DOnt see an option anywhere.

Click the globe at the top then 'International List' and choose a team there.

So, in postseason my record was LLD, but in preseason it has been WWWWW. I'll probably end up losing to Derby tomorrow.

Cheers. I picked Spain as I was in a rush but now think it'll be incredibly boring considering their squad. Might pick another team later when I have time.

Season opener vs Wolves tonight. Their manager's been ignoring my PMs, time to try and get back at him.

Pre and post season was great, won all bar 1 but I did only play 1 div1 side. Tonight is a big test really, this forest side are dirtier than the Wimbledon crazy gang.

 You're lucky. Lewandowski has just recovered from an injury so won't be playing tonight.

I have issued orders to destroy Suarez anyway possible.
