That's one heavy loss you've made on Zaha. Ouch.

Yep :( I've got over 60m in the bank still, but with my lack of good forward players at the time I was hoping his development would have gone better than it has done.

Now with Lacazette, Griezmann and Milik in I don't need him.

Is it worth getting SM gold? I've been offered a few country manager roles and I think I'd like to take the offer.
Is it worth it?

They are. Makes it worth all the transfer dealings when it happens like that.
Yep, you've got to make the gambles. Some pay off, some don't.

Goretzka and Gomes out on loan are two more examples of ones that have paid off so far. Shame Goretzka seems to be in a permanent state of injury as otherwise he'd have been around 89 about now.

Lost 1-0 to Liverpool. Nothing major this early in teh season. I imagine us two will be back up at the end with no hassle.

Only just noticed I had 17 shots and 8 on target. Against a weaker team with a less experiences keeper it'll score a good few I'd say.
Barney on the other hand had 7 with 4 on target. His strikers are a bit more clinical though.

Yup.

Hope yours weren't injured for long. Mine is fairly minor.
2 are minor. One for 10 days. Volland. Not a big impact.

Any idea why SM doesn't have auto-sub feature in case of injuries? With closest possible player from subs named? Not sure if performance level of player decreases if say he is simulated to be injured early in game.

Performance shouldn't decrease afaik. Injuries are just a nuisance for the games that follows.

My La Liga players and predictions:

Atletico Madrid
Antoine Griezmann (23/91) - likely no change

Barcelona
Lionel Messi (27/99) - 50/50 chance of -1
Adama Traore (18/83) - no idea

Malaga CF
Ricardo Horta (20/83) - +3 to 86

Real Madrid
Sergio Ramos (28/95) - no change
Gareth Bale (25/94) - no change
Alarcon Isco (22/91) - no change
Almeida Abner (18/75) - no change as the fecking idiot got a cruciate ligament injury

Valencia CF
Rodrigo de Paul (20/85) - no change
Jose Luis Gaya (19/82) - deserves +4/+5 but will probably end up getting just a +3
Andre Gomes (21/86) - +2

All five teams currently in the top seven.

Godin, Raul Jimenez and Keylor Navas should get a plus 1 each. Mustafi I'm hoping for a plus 2.

Jan Oblaks move to Atletico hasn't gone to well, so no rise. Pedro and Suarez also no change. Maybe Hallilovic might get a cheeky increase as he is doing well in the B team, but that is a long shot. Nahuel won't rise either. Jack Harper only added recently enough.

That is my lot

New systems for City and Sunderland tonight. Hoping for an upturn in fortunes, but we shall see.

Team for tonight's game against Sunderland:

Taking big risks:
  • Bale, Nasri, Gotze, Eriksen and Griezmann all on the bench
  • Lacazette starts up front with Messi (last season he got 4 goals and 10 assists in just 8 starts and 6 sub appearances so hopefully he can continue his form)
  • Forest target Depay gets his Manchester United league debut
