*sigh* Brandt got sent off, was 1:1 in normal time and my sub Tierney, for some reason, was designated as the sixth penalty taker and he missed so I'm out.

De Gea (94)

Roberto (91) Mercado (89) Matip (90) Monreal (90)➕

Eriksen (92) Goretzka (91)
Brandt (90) Dele (91) Sterling (91)⚽
Martial (90)
Subs: Tierney (86), Boateng (94), Zakaria (87), Isco (93), Vinicius Jr (83), Mina (87), Griezmann (95)
Cup tied: Christensen (89), Chambers (87)
Did not travel: Ramos (95), Kroos (95), Bale (95), Alaba (93), Pogba (93), Kimmich (91), Perin (89)

Key:
⚽ = Goal
➕ = Assist
⭐ = MOTM
= Subbed off
= Subbed on

Next up: a loss to Everton in the League.

All league games are tough at the moment.

Can someone shed some light on the benefits of finishing in the top 4 of div 1 and between 6 and 10 in terms of European games. More income? Do they impact on fitness and concerns? Do you need to be gold to actually manage them?

Lots of questions...

More income. No impact on fitness and concerns. Yes, gold needed or it'll be left to assistant manager. More chance of winning silverware (20 trophies woo).

Alright, bit of a complicated situation but one that is in hand. Dele-Bashiru and Mavropanos were signed within minutes of each other and it has took me over FFP temporarily - I didn't expect to win Mavropanos at all. I'm obviously not going to bid on anyone else, and will be selling the following players:

Perin (89) - currently transfer banned until 21st Feb. No specific club in mind.
Monreal (90) - offered him to someone.
Mercado (89) - offered him to someone.
Milik (88) - will go to Bristol on a permanent transfer at the end of the season if he has a good finish in the league and has the money as a result to do so.

They'll be sold for face value because I'm awesome.

In Milik's case, if Bristol doesn't have the money to sign him permanently and still wants to loan him, he can do. Rest are going to be sold for sure though.

I'll take Monreal if available.
I should know in about a couple of weeks if he is. Derby, Bristol, Kidderminster and Hereford have priority due to constantly loaning players and being in lower divisions (offered to Derby but he wants a week to make a decision as he's got stuff going on in his life so this game isn't a priority of his right now). Will let you know.

Talk about being in control of your own destiny. Win them all and you'll be favourite for the league. Barnsley is a huge test though.

I also face the three teams in a row:

22: Barnsley (h)
23: Nottingham Forest (a)
24: Newcastle United (h)

Joy.

Good luck. I somehow ended my "consecutive games lost vs City" record last time I faced them so on Sunday I imagine it'll be back to losing again.

Hmmmm
Not many of the strongest teams left in both of the cups. And most of them are playing each other.
Decisions decisions
I have a good squad and can rotate, I essentially have two XI options, which having looked at your squad I believe both can beat you.

Whoa... Shots fired
haha, one thing I'll never be accused of is match fixing

Jokes, I don't know, I'm just going to play whatever my strongest team is on the day mate, not focusing on either or, just try to play a strong enough team to try and win the match.

Hard fought 1:0 victory over City. Look at these stats though. Guaranteed if City had a shot on target it would've gone in. Eriksen got sent off (he was a second half sub ffs!) and Isco misses the next game through injury (he was also a second half sub ffs!) so @green_smiley will win on Thursday.
