The Trump Presidency : Part 2

The Chinese don't even pretend anymore —> talk of American decline has gone from nationalist fringe to mainstream political discourse. Xi said it to Trump's face.

And he still thought he was talking about when Biden was in charge.

What does that say about it all?

Meanwhile, Musk was absolutely off his fecking tits the entire time. There's so many clips of him being off his face and people defending it saying it's just autism or whatever bullshit they want to believe. I've seen all the clips. He's tripping his tits off. He's absolutely off his pickle on Ket.

What a great endorsement for American strength and ingenuity.

President Donald Trump is set to drop his $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service in exchange for the creation of a fund that will pay up to $1.7 billion to some of his political allies, including people involved with the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, ABC News reported on Thursday night.

The commission overseeing the compensation fund would have the total authority to hand out approximately $1.7 billion in taxpayer funds to settle claims brought by anyone who alleges they were harmed by the Biden administration’s “weaponization” of the legal system, including the nearly 1,600 individuals charged in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol attack as well as potentially entities associated with President Trump himself.

The normalisation of J6 is so baked in now that they are PAYING people for the loyalty shown. The modern and social media slop version of the Trenchocracy

Trump visit to China is more of a business trip than official visit.

The Chinese don't even pretend anymore —> talk of American decline has gone from nationalist fringe to mainstream political discourse. Xi said it to Trump's face.

And he's not brave enough to say it back to Xi's face. So he blamed Sleepy Joe Biden and play the hero again as always
The reality is they are in decline. After the war on Iran they're declining even further, burning money for a war with no clear measurable purpose. Do the administration really think there would be no long term consequences to that?

My guess is they do know, but they don't care. They're all about personal enrichment, just one more final looting before it all comes tumbling down. We've gone from "10 percent to the big guy" to brazen looting with meme coins and fake phones.

Not strictly Trump related

Apparently, Mike Johnson (aka mah dick) is implying that insider trading and market manipulation make higher salaries for politicians unnecessary for taxpayers to fund...

Imagine being so fecking stupid to fall for this. Imagine being that person.

Holy shit, the fact he basically says the dark side of that out loud is just wild and yet it will probably barely register in the cloud of everything else happening and being said. The Dems will once again be too stupid too use that to their advantage and instead will probably have it be flipped on its head and have it claimed they are anti American for being against making money from investments.

Yet again the fecking monster is intent on destroying the environment for everyone. I can't believe this isn't getting more coverage. As usual it's been slipped in as his visit to China is dominating the news cycle.

Talking of China...This is causing a pretty huge amount of pushback. Elizabeth Warren for one has come out strongly against his position here given the hypocrisy from his previous stance. There's also some accusations suggesting he purposely hurt farmers so farms could be purchased cheaply by Chinese companies.

Personally, I think that's a load of shit, but with Trump you never really know. True or not it matters little, the fact is he hurt farmers badly with his stupid tariffs and cost of living issues and now with the war causing shortages and extra costs for fertalizers and farm machinery etc. He campaigned about helping American farmers and not allowing foreign owners of US farmland and specifically mentioned China repeatedly in his speeches. He also campaigned against foreign students, again specifically Chinese students. Now he's saying the exact opposite on both issues.

The added issue with Chinese owned farms and farmland other than potentially hurting US sustainability for homegrown produce is that many of the farms purchased in multiple states around the country are right next door to US military bases which has many speculating they are also being used to spy on the US military.

Yet still MAGA are steadfast in their support.

Nah this will be held against him by his MAGA supporters, xenophobic as they are.

The sycophanty Gym is displaying here is nothing short of amazing, he could be a cabinet member. It's also telling how politicians on the right deflect any responsibility - he literally says something only to refute it within seconds. Can't wait until November...

Nah this will be held against him by his MAGA supporters, xenophobic as they are.

Hopefully this will too. He literally insulting hundreds of millions of US citizens.

Sadly so many are saying it's fake news. Brietbart even reported this and I saw some bloke on Reddit claiming the site had been hacked and this entire Hannity interview is AI. All the clips are being labelled AI by MAGA clowns too.

On top of all this you have the huge corruption scandals and Trump taking 30 business execs to China with him and Trump having invested millions in at least SIXTEEN of those companies recently. Only yesterday it was reported Trump bought millions of shares in Dell only a few weeks before he mentioned Dell in a live press conference and the next day their shares rose by 5%.

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/05/15/trump-stock-trade-tech-oge.html

It's been said a million times, but any one thing Trump has done, often multiple times in a day adding up to hundreds of laws or rules broken, any one of them would have cost any other person their Presidency. When will enough be enough for the American public?

I know we have put up with a lot here at times but if like to think we would come together in mass protest and strikes if someone as bad as Trump came in.

This isn't new "news" - this was known months ago

i cannot believe the run of clips here posted today, simply staggering to witness
Yep. But the good news for Trump is that his supporters are either too dumb to understand that he's fecking them, or they're okay with it because at least he's screwing over the libs as well.

The Dems are just as complicit bro. Some of you see the world in black and white, in good and evil. Reality is more way messy than that, there's no silver bullet, the system is rotten to the core.

Oh i know, but only these assholes are saying it out loud right now. Something the Rs would immediately spin as them vs us.

One of the top company bigwigs on the trip to China with Trump was Jensen Huang who is the President and CEO of NVIDIA. He was trying to get China to change their mind on refusing to buy their H200 AI Chips. He was unsuccessful and came home empty handed.

Trump is also reporting the visit as a win and making claims that the Chinese aren't outright denying, instead on their official webpage the list of things discussed and agreed totally contradict the list Trump and the White House released.

Trump has claimed that China had agreed to buy 200 Boeing aircraft, with the option to expand the order up to 750 planes. He also claimed China would buy 400 to 450 jet engines from General Electric.

Yet Chinese state media and officials have refused to confirm the order. While Boeing itself acknowledged the discussions, Beijing has notably left any such purchasing agreement completely out of its official summit summaries.

Trump said China agreed to purchased double digit billion dollar amounts of soya beans and agricultural goods.

China have said there was no agreement and nothing has been signed.

Trump has claimed tariffs were not discussed. China said no progress can be made until tariffs are fair and equal between the two countries. Reporters indicated that the discussions were extremely driven by economics and tariffs were obviously a big factor of discussion between the two leaders.

Trump also claimed he and Xi were in firm agreement over Iran and the Strait of Hormuz and China would help get the Strait open.

China said Iran has the right to defend itself and that no bilateral agreement was made between the US and China on the matter. Just that they agreed global supply chains should be unhindered and uninterrupted.

I've seen some claim Trump has said that China has said it will stop buying oil from Iran and instead will switch to getting it from the USA. But I can't find that in any reputable news articles anywhere. China buy between 80 & 90% of Iran's oil yet that only accounts for between 12 & 13% of their annual usage. It's logical that China will get oil from elsewhere and the US being closer makes sense, but there's no way they will stop getting it from Iran.

This is all just starting to come out now but it really does seem, as many suspected, that Trump went over like a mob boss expecting to get his own way with everything. Yet it seems like he came back empty handed and at the same time, looking like a bit of a pussy. There's some hot mic clips of him kissing Xi's arse and giving him loads of compliments.

It appears Trump is trying his hardest to save face and make out it was a huge success and he and America showed their strength and got respect and pulled off major deals. As usual though, he's lying his ass off.

Trump meets with Xi, Trump then warns Taiwan against declaring independence.

Played like a fiddle.

i think it's pretty much confirmed now that he just does whatever the last person talking to him says/advises. There is no planning or inherent logic, everyone is scheming to be the last person to talk to a dementia-riddled old man because that's all he can process. He's up til 1,2,3am posting slop and then sleeps during televised press conferences, even without dementia he's basically non-functioning.

While they were in a meeting, there were reports of huge China oil tankers moving through the strait so we can be sure they arent buying oil from the US for sure. If anything the meeting seemed to allow China tankers to move

So the usual story then. Pump up the BS meter to high and blame Biden for anything negative.

The Chinese have the luxury of playing the long game with consistent policies. They're going to win and all the bluster from the US won't change a thing.

Taiwan responds to Trump's comments. Trump had also said "they stole our chip industry".

Strange to even mention it never mind the framing, Taiwan is independent.

It’s not an independent nation though and for now that is an important differentiation that likely prevents a crisis happening.

The precise status of Taiwan is both complex and contentious. As I understand it the US has an obligation to defend the island.

They had an obligation to back Ukraine and an obligation to NATO but here we are.
Good point. If I was Taiwan, I would be worried. Because Trump has no real idea of what he says or the consequences. It was all about being seen with the great and the good and the not so good.

“This is a war grave with the same legal status as Arlington National Cemetery,” Mr. McBride said in an interview. “Snorkeling around Arizona is as disrespectful as playing kickball on top of the graves at Arlington.”

I think russia and the US have done a big favor to taiwan by showing it's not that easy for superpowers to just go and get what they want from a weaker nation.

I think Taiwan must be buying/building drones by the bucketload. It's the best way to discourage a potential invader now that US support is not to be counted on 100%.
