The Trump Presidency : Part 2

Obviously he's much older now, but if you watch a video of Trump talking in his first term or even 2 years ago vs Trump now, you can see the difference

thats actually one of the better clips of the night. Others he dies on his arse with jokes nobody laughs at, with just awkward silence. Great to see

Obviously Trump has continued his nightly bombing campaign except that last night he bombed at the White House Press Correspondents Dinner.

every decision by this admin has an underlying belief that everyone should suffer, because their beliefs are superior. There is a deep fatalism and/or negative nihilism that wants to hurt people which is masked by "saving" them. It's so disgusting.

If half of the US electorate voted for this, is it really just on the admin and not also on, you know, everybody who voted for this? Perhaps the real problem are the voters.

If this was a one-off that would something, but Trump was actually president before, you know.

It feels surreal that this has to be mentioned, but it really does feel like just about everyone in the US devoloped amnesia after 2020, and Trump was never president, or if he was, everything was swell between 2016-2020.

This. About two thirds of US citizens either voted for Trump, or didn't vote at all, so didn't care enough to prevent him. There is just no excuse for any of them after Trump's first term.

1) Blame Biden for a depleted military
2) Go to war with a depleted military
3) We in fact don't have a depleted military

Forbes estimates Trump's net worth has increased by 4 billion since taking office in his 2nd term.

There better not be any life prolongation technology breakthrough soon, because Trump will use it and rule forever.

Page is down message on this one. Messaging pulled?

The clip still works for me—perhaps it’s geoblocked.

It’s Mike Waltz on Meet the Press. He says U.S. stockpiles were depleted by years of aid to Ukraine, the campaign against the Houthis in the Red Sea, and the broader military situation inherited from the Biden admin. He then says the current admin is rebuilding capacity through larger defense budgets and a shift toward newer, cheaper munitions and technologies.

Basically the stockpiles were dangerously depleted when blaming Biden, but apparently not depleted enough to affect operations, and anyone discussing the shortages is irresponsible for saying so.

It's such a useless and meaningless lie to say that he has studied it for a long time, but lying is just second nature to him. He lies as easily as he breathes.

Maybe he's studied a lot of circumcised penises or children, or both, who knows.

Struggling to stay awake at Grahams funeral and knocked on his coffin. Clown behaviour.

Do people still believe that if somehow the next president and senate majority happens they're going for thunder and blood retribution and reopening all the cases?
I’d hope so, but the reality is big scale retribution isn’t going to happen. It should though if we want to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

In that case it will happen again .. and likely worse

Democrats probably won't have the appetite to once again go against Orange Teflon Don, probably will denounce all what he's done and put into action to reverse the naming of places etc but any real course of action will be probably swept away and everyone told to "move on from this chapter of history" etc all you have to do is look at Andy Beshear, he's been pretty meek with Turtle Neck Mitch, I guarantee if the shoe was on the other foot, Turtle would have gone straight for the jugular.

MAGA will probably die with the end of Trump, I don't see anyone that's currently involved I.e Don Jr / Vance / Rubio etc that has the staying power

I'm not sure you're supposed to tap the casket...

See this is the kind of thing that makes him unintentionally hilarious.

His rambling is just sad and pathetic now, but make him sit without a teleprompter next to the Japanese PM and talk about sneak attacks, that's pure comedy.
