I don't believe for a second Trump believes his actions lost the election. He's far too narcissistic to look introspectively. It's his handlers fault, his staffers, the Dem voters, the illegals, everyone and anyone that does not adore him.
I saw my grandfather fall over, aged 75ish. Cut his wrist. Pretty badly. We were concerned. His reaction to our concern was to blame the council for the uneven pavement slabs. When it was pointed out that walking along rolling a cigarette with his walking stick in the crook of his elbow may have contributed to this... he doubled down. We teased him. He then escalated this incident to the point of contacting the council. The council repaired the section of paving after 3 months. He considered this a point of validation.

That’s Trumpism.

I loved him with my whole heart. He was often a father figure to me. But he got old. He was 83 when he passed and he still called black people wogs.

Trump, Giuliani, the world has overtaken them. We can turn down the volume on Trump now. He’s never wrong. His people will validate his opinion because sometimes, it’s better to let an ageing cnut spew nonsensical bile as you know they’ll never change.

Ben Carson tests positive for COVID after attending White House election party

They have a lot of fumigating to do before Biden moves in.
Let's hope this fumigation is streamed 24/7 live and is perceived as very symbolic cleansing from the past 4 years!

Its becoming increasingly clear that whether he finally stands aside or not for Biden - that he plans to run a shadow government of sorts at the rate he is going. He ll attempt to have a 2024 campaign over-shadow the entirety of the Biden presidency. Which of course will be very ironic coming from Mr. Deep State, and he'll have folks like Gym Jordan and Graham to help him.

He barely had the attention span to get through these four years, let alone bide his time for another four.

My brain can't get pregnant!

I Replied in the wrong thread..

This has been rumoured for the last few weeks, at least. Also rumoured to be given the boot is Gina Haspel, Director of the CIA and of course, everyone's favorite Doc, Anthony Fauci. (Even though he can't fire him directly, he's still going to try)

Also, Esper had already written his letter of resignation, Trump just had to get in there first.

Next is Christopher Wray.
If Donnie hates Wray so much, I think we should keep him around or re-hire him somewhere if he gets canned. Not sure about Esper, other than it would appear he had at least some integrity and it cost him his job in the end.

Have a feeling it has to do with the protests.

Sorry, I meant I don’t know how competent or decent (in so far as a SecDef can be moral) Esper is. It definitely had something to do with the protests and not toeing the party line after the attack on protestors for the Bible photo-op.

This doesn't sound great. What's his end goal here? Bit of scorched earth or something more elaborate?
Scorched earth.

Don’t see three newly appointed interims being able to affect some elaborate plan of any quality in 70 odd days. Don’t see their respective institutions playing along with that in the timeframe that is remaining.

He's probably seriously considering martial law. It's insane.
Yep, he very probably is. I've thought all along that he would try and pull down the pillars of democracy rather than admit defeat. Let's hope it doesn't come down to whether or not the military go along with his insanity.

If the Republicans had any honor (lol) they should roll out the 25th.
