For ordinary people going from Munich to Liverpool is quite the step down.
I doubt he'll notice much from his mansion, but yes.

Munich is one the the most beautiful cities I have ever been.

Liverpool, on the other hand, is so unappealing I'd never go there in the first place.

Best midfielder in the league? Or do we think that's still De Bruyne?

I love to take the piss out of Liverpool as much as anyone. However as a city, it was awarded the European city of culture in 2008, and has a great heritage. It’s not just full of Liverpool football fans. Like Manchester is a nice city. It’s pretty close minded of you to slag it off without even visiting.

Liverpool is a great city.

Most won’t live in the city anyway though.

Not in the PL he hasn't. What are you on about? Get a grip.
So you just ignore his entire career then? That doesn't count?

Tell me if Messi had joined City would he have to prove himself as well?

Obviously? Until players have shown it you can't just proclaim them the best in the league.

Hopefully Moyesey is watching him so he knows a bit more about him than he did 7 years ago.

Thiago is obviously a classy player and you can never have enough of top class players. However, I don't think he would have made that much of an impact to our team. We are well stacked in the midfield and have bigger issues to solve. We need to increase the quality in attack and defence first. Our front 3 had successful seasons last time around but if you compare to Liverpool’s, they are still too inconsistent.

Well that was underwhelming.
The way some on here talk about him I expected him to score and assist at least three
Instead he gave away a pen, was sloppy in possession and skewed a shot wide.
With Henderson out now he could get a run of games.

Thought he was fine for a first 45 minutes in English football. These were ideal circumstances to come into though.

I thought he was David Silva of Bayern. Then I checked and he only had 3 goals and no assists last year.

He's been our DM for a long time. He's never been a true playmaker for us, but a distributor and, often overlooked, a great ball winner.
