Thomas Frank | Tottenham Manager

Absolutely gash group of players he's working with when you look at the starting lineup tonight, but to be frank he's also doing shit.

Going to be like last season a bit as Spurs could genuinely get relegated if the 18th place had been a bit better and been on low 20s currently.

Can't win at home and surprise surprise they've stopped winning away now they're not playing other bottom six teams regularly.

I thought from their solid start they'd be way better than this. Another bottom half season barely scraping over 40 points is very very poor.

Give the masses their Poch back I think.

Is he shit or is this just the level of Spurs now? Two managers in a row flirting with relegation
Huh? They are 7 points front top 4 and 13 points clear from 18th.

However, this year is a strange one, nobody seems to want champions league football and it seems everyone from 14th up are very much in the race.

They barely ever win home games. That is a huge issue with 60k paying premium prices. 2/10 and on performances they haven't really deserved to win much more than that.

He’s been done by someone there
I don't know he's always weirdly complimentary of everyone else. It was cute when he was litlle Brentford manager but you can't be the Spurs boss and use every press conference to d*ckride Arsenal, Liverpool and City. I'd sack him for the gum smacking alone anyway.

Their next league game against West Ham will surely lead to at least one of him and Nuno going, if they make it that far.

Not so long ago people were bemoaning us not listening to Ashworth and appointing him now he’s on course for the sack at Spurs and Brentford are in contention for the Champions League.

It's weird. I thought he looked promising in-and-around the time they were new to the league. His football back then was exciting, but over time, it's become negative and pragmatic. No idea why Spurs hired hired him, as his stock has been falling for a number of years imo.

Keith Andrews stepping in while losing Mbeumo, Wissa and Norgaard, shows that they're a very well run club, and I would seriously question how good Frank actually was vs being at such a well run club.

Hopefully we don't lose a potential permanent managerial candidate when Spurs sack Frank & hire someone else. Both teams will be looking at the same pool of managers.

I suspect he's better than he looks right now, given that the Spurs squad was already poor and has been further weakened with injury. But nothing about his time at Brentford suggested he was the kind of manager who would take Spurs into the Champions League again. At his best, I think he's a safe pair of hands type, nothing more. The idea that some United fans wanted him here seems bizarre.

Brentford are much better run than I realised, if Frank was secretly this shite all along. Or maybe Spurs is just that toxic of an environment.

They had champions league football on offer last year and got Frank. I wouldn’t be too worried. They have regressed and lost two of their greatest players in the last few years. There was always going to be a drop in quality after Kane and Son left. Credit to them that after Modric and Bale left that they managed to get the above two, but I’m not sure they’d find that calibre of player for a while.

Would be a disaster of an appointment. Keth fecking Andrews is doing a better job than him at Brentford. Frank instantly looks out of the depth for Spurs and he would look even worse for us.

Proper crash out.

I hear it though, imagine seeing a united manager drinking out of a pool/city cup when they're nowhere near that stadium or playing that team?

2-0 down at the break with chants of sacked in the morning and a chorus of loud boo's as the players walked off, its not looking good for him.

Yeah, the more you see what Andrews is doing and the more you see how managers fare at Brighton, you do start to think that a lot of how those clubs fare is down to more of the overall club influence than the manager.

Yet another case of a manager who’s suited to that small to medium sized club with low expectations, struggling at a big sized club with high expectations and two games a week being the norm. His football is particularly an eyesore too.

So I hope he gets three years, £500m and the fans patience to get it right with them.

His football was always long balls, set pieces, utter boring and defensive shite.

He can't handle the step up in pressure and expectation from Brentford to Spurs.

I've seen some of his interviews and it doesn’t look like he understands that he can't get away with losing as many as he used to without increased scrutiny.

He was so cocky and arrogant at Brentford, especially when talking about us. His humble pie has been quite something.

He was probably lucky not to get sacked at Brentford in the season before last. They only won 3 games between the 4th November and 13th April.
