Wish him the best of luck, nothing against the lad. Shame it didnt work out for him.

That loan to Palace really didnt work out at all. Wish we picked the clubs we loaned to a little more carefully. Hindsight being great and all but cant remember too many loans working out for us recently. (Henderson aside)

He got really unlucky with the Palace loan, he was their starting RB for most of the season and had some really good spells but then lost his place to the guy who'd eventually be signed by his parent club. His Fulham loan was a bit of disaster due to injury and form.

Good luck to him, like all United graduates I'll hope he goes on to forge a respectable career for himself.

He was a decent player but ultimately not good enough for a squad wanting to fight for titles.

Good look TFM, I hope he goes on and has a decent career.

Glad he turned down the contract to be honest but admire him to go look for a club he will get regular football . Lingard / Jones take note

Good luck. Sad it never worked out. Had high hopes of him. Maybe had we appointed someone else instead of Jose he could have kicked on.

Not a Man Utd player any longer - officially sold today. Best of luck in future endeavours, Tim.

Actually, it’s for the better - we get some modest fee which is still better than nothing, and he joins a good team where he will hopefully play

Wish him all the best. I feel like the club does an injustice to some of these youngsters, holding on to them for so long.

Other than those few appearances under LVG hasn’t really looked the part. Some of his cameos over the last year have been pretty bad but there is a decent player in there. Good luck to him.

Anyone have just the slightest idea how much - ballpark figure - we got?

Thought he looked decent at times, but just never a top-4 starter. Can definitely still have a great career though. Wish him all the best!

Not sure he is going to get a lot of game time, Leverkusen are a decent side. Would have made more sense to go to a smaller club/league to get playing time and then maybe look for a step up.

Hes a nice lad and you can see he's well liked amongst the squad but he's nowhere near the required quality for

People claim him to be not good enough but we should realize he was injured for so long and played mainly out of position which is a big reason for that. With a better luck and a manager who has a faith in him I think he can still be a great player. He´s ready for men´s football in a different league easily and still young enough to reach decent potential.

Best of luck Timbo..

Just one of maybe 7 or 8 players who should have moved on or been moved on before now. It’s been a long time since he looked like he might be a good first team player for us. What he needs now is 80 odd first team games over the next couple of years, in one position and then we’ll see if all of that potential has been lost.

Nothing but respect to him, he had the chance to extend his contract here but knowing he wasn't on our plans he decided to leave instead of becoming deadwood.

It was never an attitude or grit issue, he simply wasn't good enough and injuries didn't help.

Hope he has a great career in Leverkusen.

He looked ace in those first few games under LvG. Especially that game against Spurs, he was rock solid. Then he went off injured and we shipped 2 or 3 in quick succession. I think we all had high hopes after those games.

Not had a lot of luck with injuries, and we sent him on a couple of loans at clubs who weren't in a particularly good place. Shame it didn't work out.

What an athlete he was on the pitch. Lighting speed (or so I recall). All the best Fosuuuuu

A combination of injuries and timing (especially in the changes of managers) worked against him. I think the one year extension was taken up because the club thought there was potential, but he's clearly looking for regular game time, which is understandable at 23 and needing to establish a career. A good move for him to Bayer Leverkusen if he can get playing time there.

Sorry to see him go really, and that it didn't work out for him. For a big defender, he has good pace, and I never subscribed to the customary knee-jerk "not good enough" reaction to him.

Good luck and success to him.

Peter Bosz probably knows everything there is to know about TMF. He will get games and he will be a good signing for them. He has a lot of attributes to build on.

Hope it works out for him.

Good luck to him, and well done to TFM for moving now rather than just eat up 6 months of his remaining contract.

Hope he does well.

Fully agree, but we are simply not in a position to compromise. It’s understandable why...

That said, he was also somewhat lucky to actually get quite a few matches under his belt lately - and it obviously helped him to secure such a good move. If OGS just froze him on the bench, he likely wouldn’t. So, it’s good for both parties in the end of the day

Out indefinitely with a torn ACL. Heartbreaking for the lad.

Here's to a successful comeback and recovery period.
