Yeah looks a step above the Fletchers. Should get a decent move, he’d be a decent addition to a lot of teams, if his injuries don’t hold him back.
I thought he looked fairly decent. Still needs a full season of playing football before we could realistically play him. Surely we can find a decent loan-match for him, something like Stockport?

How about to ours, I think he would be a decent back up to Santos if we don't buy another DM. Brings some bite and mobility to our midfield. It wouldn't hurt us to put him in the rotation as he can partner Mainoo and Tielemans, allowing us to keep Santos fresh.
So why not keep him this season and reassess later? Low salary, no fee and can only improve. Hell of a lot better than spending £40m on average player when he can contribute.
Both him and T Fletcher looked quite decent today, Collyer a bit better defensively. Leeds didn't press us much on the ball in midfield so it wasn't a strong test.

Makes a lot of sense and allows us to spend funds where they are needed more. For better or worse, Santos is our starter and in his absence we can fashion out a serviceable duo that includes Tielemans/Mount/Mainoo with Collyer. It won't be a Carrick - Scholes duo but it will be competitive and way better than Ugarte coming on to cost us points.
Yes he lacks creativity but he rarely wastes possession so in a team with Martinez, Tielemans and Bruno do we need him to be Scholes reincarnate? That physicality is also important for a guy like Tielemans imo.

Spot on. I don't know why he can't be kept for cover. He's hugely athletic and neat and tidy. And he's free.
Shame about all his injuries. I've always thought of him to have the potential to be a first team player at United. Not a maestro in midfield, but do everything decently well and can keep it tidy.

Covers the ground really well and I’d definitely keep him around as back up. Yes, he’s not a superstar in the making but he is a decent backup and what’s the point in letting him go for a couple of million.

Players who are coming through who look like the height of their potential would to be a functional steady Eddie, I don't see them making it here. It's why the Fletcher brothers are getting flack at the moment sadly, it's really hard to see any top level technical talent in them.

Atm he is the fifth best midfielder at the club, and he has some complementary abilities, so him going out on loan should depend on getting another midfielder, which I expect to happen. What happens later will be for later.
I kind of feel he would be fine as 5th midfielder in the club. He's not ready to be Santos backup that's for sure, but seeing him in cups occasionally, or for the last 10-20 minutes of a game where we need more athletism in Central areas - I wouldn't mind Collyer.

I think in that case he would be better leaving, reality is that the 5th midfielder, barring an injury crisis, will get next to no minutes over the year. Mount and Bruno would be deployed there ahead of collyer anyway.
Hes been around for a while so needs games.
Young players make mistakes. Its not really important.Or the two before that mistake.
Sell him with a buy back option, simple as that really.
He was the one young player I thought looked ready yesterday. Wouldn't hesitate to have him as a Cup option.
Looked bright today but he is 22 now and only played around 20 games in his career. I wonder if he'd really want to sit on the bench as an option for this year or to go and get games.
