Oi give them a chance, the hard part's only just arrived. Beating Leicester won't be easy, Dortmund will probably ruin their confidence, then you've got Burnley away which they should win but it'll be hard enough without Kane, after which you've got Chelsea and Arsenal. This is where it gets interesting.
I agree. I think Leicester will beat them on Sunday and provided we beat Fulham it’s down to 6 points. Granted, we play Liverpool the following matchday but going to Turf Moor won’t be easy for them either - genuinely feel they were very lucky to get 9/9 since Kane got injured! Then the next games are just win win from our POV. I don’t think they’ll drop out of the Top 4 and I’d say they’ll finish the season strongly but this period will show their vulnerability! 3rd is possible!

Yeah he's massively underrated Chelsea IMO. Think mine is more realistic.
Mine was similar to yours

1. City - 98
2. Liverpool - 94
3. Spurs - 83
4. United - 77
5. Chelsea - 77
6. Arsenal - 71

Just realised I had City win all their games though! And I'm not sure how it differentiated United from Chelsea either.

I'm so biased.

I ended up with:

1st Liverpool - 97 points
2nd City - 91 points
3rd Spurs - 83 points
4th Chelsea - 76 points
5th United - 75 points
6th Arsenal - 72 points

I find it funny that Liverpool draw two games and now all of a sudden nobody sees us winning the league. Its is February.

We could beat Bournemouth tomorrow and City could lose to Chelsea and the tables turn again.

I can see we're all in agreement that Arsenal are nailed on for 6th.

Arsenal have the easiest run in with City, Liverpool and Chelsea already played. It’d be foolish to write them off for top 4.

Can't see us getting eighty something points.
All I can say is I'm sad we didn't sack that man earlier. We have very little margin for error.

1. Man City - 95
2. Liverpool - 86
3. Man Utd - 83
4. Tottenham - 79
5. Arsenal - 72
6. Chelsea - 72

I'd take this...

I didn't have Tottenham losing all that many.

This seems to be the only foregone conclusion in all of this. Barring a tremendous meltdown from either us or Chelsea, I can’t see arsenal finishing higher than 6th.

I got the following:

  1. Man City - 92
  2. Liverpool - 90
  3. Tottenham - 82
  4. Man Utd - 81
  5. Chelsea - 77
  6. Arsenal - 73

Will happily take that at the end of the season

It'll really hurt if we lose out on the title because Mane's shot against City was on the wrong side of the line by 12cm.
I'm guessing the numerous offside goals, stonewall penalties not given against, random allocation of injury time to let Liverpool score don't count?

A bunch of University students did a study last season 'proving' that Liverpool were hard done by and United got lucky, I'm sure there won't be a study done this season.

No and no...just because.

I left myself open for that in all seriousness. Don't blame the officials for Pickford though.
Well titles have been lost for little than that.
Good point.

I left that one out on purpose, Everton getting a result at Anfield is a crime against football (see last season when Alardyce did his thing).

Early days but seems like Higuain might be the missing piece of the puzzle for us, so I feel that we will get 3rd.

Spurs will loose more points than us, with Poch leaving at the end of the season.

It's up to you to catch them.

1. Man City - 94
2. Liverpool - 93
3. Chelsea - 83
4. Spurs - 79
5. Man Utd - 78
6. Arsenal - 78

whats the delusion?; thinking we will get top 4? That's far from deluded, and with spurs 3rd, its not impossible they bottle it and someone nicks 3rd.

Higuain is the missing piece?
Spurs will drop more points than Chelsea?

That's just this thread
