The popular Total Football -- which 11 modern TF players do you think will make the system work best ?

Let's say..
Modern players -- year 2000 to 2020.

Yes, I'm aware of the many modern (and past) tactical variations and adaptations of the system.
So let's just use the simplest and "purest" form and idea of Total Football.
You know what it is.

I have a problem thinking even one lineup, so this is what I've got at the moment.

• Goalkeeper would be Neuer.
• Defenders perhaps... Maldini, Cafu, Lahm, Lucio.. maybe Ramos and Terry as well.
• Midfielders maybe.. Gerrard, Guti, Busquests... then? Mascherano? Modric? David Silva?
• Attackers would be... uhh, who? Muller? Messi?

• First names on the team sheet: Litmanen (not 2000+ but I really wanted to include him), Davids, Müller, van der Sar.
• Probably not the best but I really wanted to include him too: van Bronckhorst.
• Could have started on another day: Seedorf, Zanetti, Enrique (on the edge of the 2000+ criterion), Eto'o, Reus, etc.
• False 9 option: Litmanen with Müller/Villa (not the best use of him but oh well) in wider areas, Davids-Schweinsteiger-Seedorf in midfield and van Bronckhorst-Maldini-Nesta-Cafú in defense.
